New Tournament Mode for Apex Legends

New Tournament Mode for Apex Legends

Description:

Hello, I would like to propose an idea for a new game mode that could add a unique and competitive experience to Apex Legends: a Tournament Elimination Mode. The idea is based on a bracket-style tournament format, where squads compete in elimination rounds until one ultimate champion is crowned.

Mode Details:

1. Phase 1 - Qualifiers:

20 squads face off in 10 random matches in small arenas.

The winning squads move on to the next phase.

2. Phase 2 - Semi-Finals:

The remaining 10 squads battle in 5 new matches.

Only the winners proceed to the final round.

3. Phase 3 - Finals:

The last 5 squads compete in a larger arena to determine the champion.

The final match could include dynamic elements like faster shrinking zones to heighten the intensity.

Additional Features:

Exclusive Rewards: Unique skins, badges, banners, or in-game currency for the winners.

Ranked System: This mode could have a separate ranking system to cater to competitive players.

Spectator Mode: Adding a spectator mode could enhance the competitive atmosphere and promote the eSports potential of Apex Legends.

I believe this mode could provide an exciting alternative to the traditional gameplay while staying true to the core essence of Apex Legends. It would appeal to both casual players and competitive gamers, offering something fresh and engaging.

Thank you for your time and for the amazing work on Apex Legends!

Best regards,

  • @Fear_FKD Yeah I like that idea actually I suggested something similar a few months ago. I also suggested we could have different criterias for eligibility of different tournaments like the lvl let's say you want a tournament for lvl 2500 and plus, original gamers, or you want diamond or higher ranked players for the tournament or maybe you want only gold or less ranked players.
  • @Fear_FKD I like this. They've shown with straightshot they can make smaller zone matches too. Straightshot style drops would be perfect for this.
