Nice great job you bring out an update and yet you still cant add in a SIMPLE feature. the game is literally unplayable for me without hold to sprint. i cant stand the toggle for sprinting my movement is hinderd soo much and i really want to play this game but i just cant play it without an option for hold to sprint. now i have to wait for another couple weeks for you to add a feature THAT IS SOO EASY TO ADD IN AND YET YOU DONT
Uhh, unless something is broken, you only need to hold shift for a few seconds and let it go, for your character to continue sprinting until you stop moving. So technically, this feature already exists.

You make AAA games with hundreds of thousands or more of lines of code don’t you? Where would you slip that code on? How will you ensure that it won’t cause a bug in another area of the game? What if something in that code causes the patch to fail the pre-screening process on consoles?
Please explain how easy it is, since you’re SOOOO knowledgeable.
literally EVERY FPS GAME IN EXISTENCE HAS a hold to sprint option. they have toggle/hold for aiming and crouching but not for sprinting and and i dont know * about code but compared to the other stuff this would take them seconds to add this,this would not be such a huge problem where it would bug other code fk off with that bs
I feel the exact same way. I NEED hold to sprint to play the game properly. And no the feature doesnt "basically exist" already, if that was the case people wouldnt be asking about it. Many other games (COD for example) use this type of sprint recharge as default and then add HOLD as an alternative. This fact confirms the issue TS is describing. And I see no reason why they wouldnt add it asap, I mean its keeping people from playing (maybe few people but still)... I wouldnt worry too much about the coding and bugs due to this feature addition... The poeple who has managed to make a great game like this wont wont have any problems making this happen. Be reasonable.
I totally understand how you may be frustrated, but I think that you should try giving them a break! They just came out with the game and they have way more pressing issues that they have to attend to. I'm positive that you'll be okay without the feature for a while longer if ever. 🙂 You're being a little brash in demanding things that a small percentage of players would like. Try to cool off and learn to play the game as it is in the moment! If it's really that unbearable, I'm sure you can find another game to play that won't make you rage.
