New update takes away Champion circle

As for the reason, the patch notes basically reads "we don't want players to be discouraged by the stats and badges of the champion squad"

However, this change comes across to me as:

"People complained about getting high ranked and no-life players in their matches, so we're hiding that fact"

Which doing so makes no sense as it removes part of Apex's identity, (being THE champion).

Furthermore, if Respawn makes a new system, it is bound to fail because as anyone who've seen the leaderboards during Ranked Rumble can tell you, players can and will use cheats and/or exploits to climb to the absolute top anyways.

So in short:

Respawn, just put the champion screen back or rework the champion screen to where it hides the player's badges, stats, (and even their banner frames), because then no one will see something like this:

and now suddenly, ahhh, a lot less "intimidating", (and also rework the matchmaking and remove badges and stats from those who didn't actually earn them).

I used to think players with hard to get badges and crazy stats were really good, but Respawn had really let the value of these badges and stats go.

Lastly, this removal is as lame as when they "fixed" Wattson's Easter Egg emote, (where Wattson could no longer place the Nessie on her teammate's hitboxes, (which did absolutely nothing to block enemy gun fire and made the emote fun to use)), and even lamer than when they removed the ability to emote while moving, (which yes, was a thing).
