Ninja Control Preset PS4/XB1 Not Working

What happens when the bug occurs? After switching to Ninja controller layout, (L1 jump, R1 crouch/slide), CANNOT use health items from the D-pad wheel. Have to go into all items screen to select them. Happens every time, therefore cannot quickly use health items.
What should be happening instead? Should be able to use health items from quick wheel/D-pad on any controller layout
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Switch to Ninja controller layout, try to use any health item (syringe, shield cell, etc.) by using UP on D-pad and trying to hold X to use it while in the health wheel. Holding X does nothing. Using L1 (which is what X or jump is re-bound to) also does not work.

What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to ping any item in the inventory (ammo needs, attachment needs, etc...) when using the Ninja button layout. Ping being 'A' fails to work at all while in the inventory.
What should be happening instead? Legend should ping other teammates about what I am asking for.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Change button layout to Ninja. Proceed into game, grab a weapon. Attempt to ping all the attachments needed and/or ammo.

What happens when the bug occurs? When I play on the Ninja control scheme, which moves ping to the A button, I am unable to ping items in death boxes for my teammate. In order to alert teammates to valuable items, I must take the item from the box, drop it on the ground, and ping it. This tactic does not work for some of the most important items, such as backpacks, armors, and helmets.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to ping items in a deathbox as easily as I could if I were playing on the default control scheme.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Step 1: Change controls scheme to "Ninja" (My RB is very unreliable, so I put ping on A for consistent "enemy spotted" pings) Step 2: Open a death box. Step 3: Attempt to ping an item in the death box.

What happens when the bug occurs? Instead of being able to ping an item for my team, I can only equip it. If I try to request ammo, I equip the item instead

Is it possible to change some controls on ninja? Because you cant request ammo because the button for request ammo is the same button with selext weapon.

I am playing on a ps4, ninja is one of the controller presets
