@NotSundance Also please refrain from personal attacks when I am simply trying to find a way to retain players who are max levels and have not received their first heirloom. I rather save my money for bills and medical expenses because of personal financial issues thanks to the pandemic that we are all facing. That is why I am playing a free-to-play game because it's my one escape from this harsh reality of the world currently.

You know that there is a whole forum for feedback (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Feedback/ct-p/apex-legends-feedback-en). This is not a bug. If you want to leave a feedback then us appropriate forums and channels. This is not appropriate channel. And it is false that you can't earn stuff after reaching level 500. Since season 5 there is a quest where you can earn materials, packs, charms and at the end also epic weapon skin, per season there are usually two events with event rewards tracker with free rewards, also there is a battle pass where in the free tier you can earn packs, weapon skins and one legend skin. So wrong channel and all in all you are wrong in your argument. All the stuff you can buy is cosmetics only which doesn't alter gameplay in any way. I always thought people play this game because they like the gameplay and not because of the cosmetics. I like the cosmetics but they are just a bonus. I have all the heirlooms and pretty much all the skins (missing only skins from first collection event) and when I from time to time create a smurf I find out that it doesn't matter from performance and enjoyment standpoint what skins I'm using or using no skins at all. I still see that you feel entitled that Respawn should give you freebies and handouts just because you have financial difficulties. So you want to play game for free (which is perfectly fine) and also get free stuff (which you got and will get in the future - read the part about the free stuff you are getting regardless of your level) and still complaining. If this is not sens of entitlement then I really don't know what really is...

This is by design, not a bug. Therefore I moved the thread to the feedback section.

This is incorrect. The level cap was once increased from 100 to 500, and then and only then the levels were awarded with apex packs retroactively.

Right now, we have no information whatsoever if our level-ups after 500 are tracked. Neither do we know if we are rewarded packs for them at some point.

@NotSundanceBefore patronising him for giving his personal opinion/feedback which perhaps could have been written slightly differently to get his point across, at least try and understand it from his and a vast majority of others perspective which actually have a valid point.

It might be false that you can't earn free cosmetics after 500 but it's also true there isn't much progression to incentivise F2P, or paying players for that matter, to stay after reaching the level cap or max rank (excluding the poorly implemented ranked split to increase engagement) and why many get bored with nothing to work towards and only return for the following season or events with lacklustre rewards.

This is a reality that many have spoken about.

  What Respawn should do is, they should add another way of getting heirloom shards, like when you reach three or four times the required crafting metals for a legendary skin you should be able to buy heirloom shards for 4,800

@DYSPROssium I do appreciate you moving this post, as you can see I am a newbie to the forums but not to the game. I did not realize this existed so for that thank you!

@NotSundance In regards to your post I agree, cosmetics mean nothing to gameplay. It's something to show your friends and have fun with. That's why there's a banner screen, to show off what you have unlocked. I love the gameplay, it's fluidity and climbing mechanic is by far the best. They took what worked well in Titanfall 1 & 2 and they implemented it into this game. Its absolutely brilliant.

I also understand the quest comic line (which is a lot of fun to read), and the battle pass. As I have stated earlier, I am max level on all fronts. So I cannot earn anymore items until the season resets, which is in 11 days now. Which is fine, just for the next 11 days the only reason to play is because the game is one of the best FPS games out on the market right now. I am not denying that, I love this game which is why I am max level. I just would like some form of incentive to keep playing on this account instead of making a smurf. I don't like smurfing, I feel bad for the people who are just starting up getting pitted against someone who has been playing for years.

I wouldn't even mind if it was like 10 crafting metals every five levels, then it would take quite a few level ups to be able to build anything. I don't want free skins, just some different incentives instead of legend tokens.
