Hello,I have been leveling up a few times now after being level 100 and all you get as reward is i believe 600 Legend Tokens all the time.Also i have been very unlucky so far (no legendary skin for any legend so far).So I dont wanna spend my hard earned money on Apex Store and would love to unlock stuff by PLAYING for it...but what can i do now... i can only play for more and more Legend tokens but there is nothing you can buy for them.... (well once you got all legends)... yes i can save them for new legends but i actually got 40k of them right now.. so enough for 3 legends once they come out.... but without spending money i cannot get any lootboxes or any crafting materials anymore... why can i not pay with legend tokens?? In the store you would first have to pay for a skin to be able to buy the other with legend tokens.....(yes i got the battlepass and got a few more chances to get something out of that.. but lets pretend i wouldnt have it..)Also i would love to be able to destroy legend skins or weapon skins to be able to get crafting materials to be able to get the skins i would like to play with.regardsMarc

This is a EA game and they're unable to shove too many microtransactions down players throats because of recent events so they decided to do the next best thing, give players just enough to wet their appetite and stop so they're forced to shell out cash if they want those sweet legendaries and heirlooms. Only way they'll break is when the game gets old and repetitive to a point where it's not enough to keep the majority of players occupied,then they'll add more free stuff to get the numbers back up

well I definately will play till i am done with the battlepass... maybe 20-30 more days... but then if i got no chance on any loot i will stop till next season... and I think a lot others will stop too if there is nothing left to play for... oh well if player numbers drop low enough they have to find a solution to it.

got 50 k of legend tokens now . when they release new legends in next update, would get easily at day 1 . even if there are more than 2 .

I never understood this either. It was already bad they really lowered the amount of Apex packs when you got to higher levels, but getting nothing now is ridiculous.So much for Respawn claiming that EA had no say when making this game.

@Maverick0604 I will never understand these kind of complaints.You get to play one of the best battle royal shooters out there for free.If you are a bit lucky you get the legendary skins you want for free as well!Personal i would love to see that you can spend the red in game earned currency as well for special EARNED cosmetics.People have to understand that a game has to make money to exist.This is the best way of doing it for everybody!!!What else did you want?You want a commercial after every match?You want people to Pay only for actual advantages in the game? ( More damage more life etc? )Tell me if the game gives you everything for free, How will it exist?Where will it get the funds to get better and pay for the servers maintenance YOU can use for free right now if you chose not to play with special skins.Nothing in this life is for free.But this game is damn close to it.I have payed money to buy packs for 2 reasons.1: To support the game! i want it to be better and it needs support to exist.Yeh i like the game. EA has their hands in their pants, they can make money off you not progressing naturally, and they can get away with it for now. So hawhaw you only get what you're given because no one can bite the hand that feeds.

I just checked again... all i got till level around 110 is a legendary skin for the great mosambik and the alternator (2 of the most useless guns in the game) and there is no chance other then spending real money to get more .... really EA and Respawn?

Lets look at Heroes of the Storm's Lootbox System;
- First of all HotS is a f2p game.
- There is more then 80 heroes in HotS, You can level up each hero unlimitedly. Whenever a hero leveled you get a lootbox.
- Also there is a combined level and you get a rare lootbox at every 5 level / epic lootbox at every 25 level.
- Lets say you open a box and dont like what you get. you can reroll your lootbox up to 3 times with spending some golds (gold earned by playing games)
- Also recently they started to sell lootboxes with gold.
- If you get a duplicate u get fair amount of crafting shards so its relatively easy to craft skins you want.
But how they make money if they giving tens of thousands free boxes? They are selling monthly boosters which is only double your XP and gold gain per game. Also selling everything in the store with gems (gems like apex coins). Blizzard have managed to establish the perfect f2p system.
So funding game while giving everything for free is possible. And yes, I know APEX is BR, HotS is moba they are different kind games and HotS can be a little extreme in giving free stuff but it is possible to adapt something like this system to apex. Actually we don't even want too many free things like in HotS... Rewards after level 100 This is an old post with some ideas for this game
We dont live in the 90's anymore... When people spend a lot of time in a game they want to get something in return. Welcome to 2019. You may not think like that but majority of players thinks like that. The funny part is that companies' greedy policies have made people like this... In these days people want to see player/customer friendly games, not company friendly, money sucker games.
