I doubt it really is 5 seconds though? More like 0.5-1 sec if we are being honest? But please prove me wrong with a video because that would be proof of a game breaking bug.
But anyways, I know what you mean. It can be frustrating but once again; I think its a necessary thing. If you was able to do damage towards the execute in the middle of the enemie's knockdown-animation, people would become a loot box before they could even got to the knockdown state, especially if multiple enemies are shooting at them. I have to remind myself to play it cool when someone is knocked, and wait until I can see he clearly is on the ground in the knocked state before starting to shoot him again.

This is me only with concerns of downed no regs. This is not even counting the kraber no reg i had the 99 no regs the flatline no regs on players standing.
- 5 years ago@E9ine_AC Same here. At the beginning of season 7 first hits dident count. Only 2-3e hits started to do damage.
And i too noticed after shooting a player down there is a delay before you can end them.
For me its 1-3 seconds before damage starts counting on either the k.o shield or player.
Its weird that sometimes player can be damaged as soon as they are downed and some cant be hit after atleast a sec or 2 maybe 3.
Maybe a part of the overall connection issues?
Yesterday's patch did clean the game up for me.... plays alot smoother for some reason.

Sure, the window of time when an enemy is invincible during the knockdown animation is long enough to empty a full mag, especially with a R99 etc, and I get that it can be frustrating, especially when you are in a hurry to shield swap/loot ammo whatever.But the real quesiton is; do you think the game would be better if you could be executed before you even hit the ground after getting knocked? Because this "protection" ofc also applies to you when you get knocked. Me personally would probably find it super frustrating to become a lootbox the milisecond you hit the ground after getting knocked, but thats just me. I guess I take the good with the bad .
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@Balladalidila Well these are people who was knocked and had time to fully pull up shield and I shoot them in the back with no damage being done. I then have to reload to retry it again. This was not me trying to thirst someone in air or anything these was people on their knees with a shield up and I still no reg them. Im not the only one who notices it and see it. Streamers have it happen I have it happen other players have it happen. It is purely pointed to just being no regs due to something they have changed or did not account for and its blocking the damage. It should not be blocking the damage at all.
If I'm knocked then I meant to go down. I get thirsted no matter what either way. So it wouldn't matter if I thought it would be better or not because its been happening since season 0. Its a very common practice from the higher end players to ensure no come back is possible. Thats why I'm thirsted they think the same way. I even reported this 2 seasons go on knocked players not taking any damage from first mag of shooting. This is nothing new to me I see it often which is now the second time I'm reporting it again.- Balladalidila5 years agoSeasoned Ace
Oki. If you say so. I personally have never experienced a situation when someone had his knockdown shield fully up but still was invincible from other angles.
I think you should record it and post it here if it happens to you that often. Video proof is the only way we, the community, can have our complains distinguished from the endless stream of mindless crybaby complains with no proofs and actually get the devs attention and start put pressure for them to actually do something about it.
