No to map rotation

100% agree I got on for the first time ready to play the new bloodhound takeover thing and I can only play kings canyon so I sit and wait the however long it was 30 minutes I believe and now it's the same damn thing but at night so I wait an hour just to what play 1 or 2 games then I have to wait another hour just to play WTF who thought this was a good idea??

the apex maps are very well done but on the Kings Canyon map sometimes I get to position 3 without having to kill anyone which I consider very boring, they have the statistics and they know that many of us stop playing when they force Kings Canyon to play , and since their servers seem to be saturated, this was their quarantine solution!

Selection is usually a bad idea, letting players not learn how to handle new,  good maps.

but the problem here is there are 2 maps, Worlds Edge which is excellent and Kings Canyon, which is awful.  It was the first map, I get it, but everything wrong with it is still wrong with it.  I think After Dark solve some of the problem with stupid drop and melee games, but it’s still terrible.

And like people mentioned, how can you add an event and then limit playtime for that event?  Just a pile of bad.

Map rotation will work when there are maybe 6-8 or more maps. And they shouldn’t happen during events.

I've not played apex much since the update. This afternoon was the first time since this change that I got to play worlds edge for a full hour. A full hour?! I normally play for several hours a day and now I'm lucky if I get 1 hour. I would much prefer the choice but in the meantime I've been switching the game off when I can't play worlds edge and I've started playing warzone instead now.
