Normal vs Ranked is broken

I'm sure this has been mentioned many times before as i can't imagine i'm the only one noticing this.
But matchmaking is a huge problem in my opinion.

As a diamond 4 player, when i play a normal game, 90% of the time i get 2 potato teammates with barely a win and 20 kills, and come against at least 4 or 5 predator squads dropping out of the ship. In a NORMAL game! I get far less predators in ranked then i do in normal games. And almost always get low level teammates who barely know what they are doing in the game. This makes it very frustrating because there is no variation. 90% of the games i start are like this. This is the reason why lots of players and streamers start smurfing accounts because it's just not enjoyable to always come against 3 man predator squads while your own teammates do 20dmg by average. My suggestion would be to keep normal games truely random without looking at any stats, (except maybe for a seperate lobby for the newcomers under level 20). And then change ranked mode to a skill based mode where u earn points for killing higher skilled players, and lose points for dieing by a lower skilled player. Thus making teams of equally skilled players instead of the grinding of points now, that is just idiocy, when all normal games matchmaking is based on rank also. In other MP games like COD and BF this system might work to make more balanced teams overall, because each team has many players. For a BR game like Apex this obviously does not work at all and people get annoyed. I can't even play a normal game with my friend anymore because everytime he joins my lobby he's also forced to play against those predators and he's not very good at the game. So yes i had to make a second account also, just so we could have some fun again.

I don't mind losing to someone that's better, but that amount of predators (what supposed to respresent a small % of top gamers) can't always happen to wander in my random games by coinsidance.

I am also a Diamond player on my main (currently D2, about 2.7 overall k/d, 3k dmg badges on several legend etc) and I honestly think the SBMM in casual is quite fair when you are playing solo. Sure, it feels like I am more likely to get matched with worse randoms than better but that can be explained by the average skill distribution of the player base (last season, like 70-80% players were gold or worse).

However, it sometimes feels like the average skill level of the competition is upped significantly whenever I play with a full 3-man premade squad. Perhaps the casual matchmaker is designed to prioritize full premade squads vs each other and I guess statistically, most skilled players play premade and most noobs play solo so that would explain this.

PS. Are you really serious when you have 4-5 predators squads, i.e. up to 25% predators? My matches, also solo matches, usually have more like 4-5 predator players in total, and since Im Diamond, its a totally fair, even kinda casual, match up.
