They are aware of this issue and is being addressed on the Dev Tracker.
They have stated on Reddit / dev tracker that they are trying to fix the issue and even better we found we workaround!
Could you maybe try the following steps, these should you get back into the game.
Apex won't get past the "continue" screen

@Zeelmaekers I've seen the workaround but it doesn't make sense tbh. I tried to understand it and follow the instructions but it just didn't work for me on Xbox. I'm sure I messed up a step because I was so confused.
