OBS Studio. Recording is Cheating?

I've noticed sometimes when you're trying to join a game, it kicks you out before character selection. Like it gets you into a lobby, it's preparing the match, then right before the character selection you're kicked. Then a message pops up with something about it not recognizing something. What it is, is recognizing the OBS Studio gameplay recorder as a cheat program. So what if it keeps doing this? Will I get perma-banned just for recording my gameplay? Trying to make videos. Lose out on the 200$ or so I've spent in game? I'll get some recordings of this occurrence, and post it at some point.
