Octane cant punch while his stim is active

this has happened to me a couple of times and the first time it happened i just thought i didnt punch the enemy but it really seems octane cant punch while his stim is active? please  fix this its extremely annoying dying to this, (i tested it out and you can punch while the stim is active but i guess you cant punch enemies or maybe its because of the throwing animation? anyway i would like to see this fixed!! thank you
