@SERPENT_DESCEND Nope just very exhausted from explaining one of the most simple details in a game to “experienced” players who cant grasp simple concept from reading plain english. I dont care if 20 people who dont understand LOW PROFILE or FORTIFIED try telling me (A player with over 50,000 kills total who knows the game way more in depth than all of you) that I dont know what Im talking about. BECAUSE I MOST CERTAINLY KNOW THIS GAME MORE THAN YOU
@KoltSolo Nah, you really don’t. But seriously, the patch notes literally say nothing about making legends harder to hit, so I’d assume you could use your knowledge of English to understand that, I think you are capable enough.

Also, the devs don’t always say why they implement a change in the patch notes, but it can obviously be inferred.
Reducing damage clearly means that want to nerf a weapon.
Increasing damage means that they want to buff a weapon.
Decreasing damage taken for two legends whose only similar traits that could have warranted this change was their massive hitboxes.Increasing damage taken for 3 legends whose only similar traits that could have warranted this change was their small hitboxes.

Fortified and Low Profile are EXTRAS added to legends to give them an advantage NOT a disadvantage( which you are claiming to be solely the case with low profile ) WHICH YOU ARE WRONG.Whats the little low profile symbol before the semicolon suggest? That they are better at evading bullets (aka MORE DIFFICULT TO HIT,)
Uh oh wait and since they are more difficult to hit they cant just have that or it would be way to OP so they have to add the increase incoming damage 5% ( I KNOW A HUGE DISADVANTAGE TO BEING HARDER TO HIT IN THE FIRST PLACE)

It literally says that low profile makes legend more difficult to hit. IF you have a problem understanding simple fundamentals thats for you to contact EA or make your own post for further explanation of 1 tiny thing they ADDED to their legends. NOT for you to try to ruin my post with your stupidity after i simply and nicely explained it the same way the first 5 times to you
- @KoltSolo Yes, but saying “They are harder to hit” doesn’t really mean anything. How? Is it because it makes their hitboxes smaller? Are their animations faster? There is always an underlying explanation for HOW they are harder to hit.
Also, Fortified is a buff applied to those who are bigger, because they have bigger hitboxes. Why do you think they have Fortified?
Since you are under the impression it’s a buff, why would they include the 5% bonus damage to them? That’s definitely a nerf, so by your interpretation it would have to mean that it somehow makes them much harder to hit, which isn’t the case. If they wanted to buff them, they could just make them slightly harder to hit, (again, how?), and just not include the 5%.
Don’t quote a dictionary either, as it doesn’t really help your case.
Fortified: provided with defensive works as protection against attack
Octane: Octane is a hydrocarbon and an alkane with the chemical formula C8H18, and the condensed structural formula CH3(CH2)6CH3.
The words are just supposed to be somewhat related to whatever they’re applied to.
I have also nicely explained how you are wrong, and many other people have too. I am willing to try and correct you for a long time, but I think it’s time for me to contact EA, so I’ll be back in a bit. Do you like to say things, contradict yourself about your original statements, forget what you say, and be completely arrogant to facts, and argue truth?
Your first say low profile doesn't make them harder to hit. You than follow up with multiple posts to “prove” how right you are.(posting patch notes from 2 seasons ago and random blog write ups.
Okay so Im going to prove you wrong again, you say only fortified is a buff and applied to larger characters because they have a bigger hit box.. WELL PATHFINDER IS THE TALLEST AND THE 2-3 LARGEST CHARACTER WHO GUESS WHAT IS NOT FORTIFIED, HE IS LOW PROFILE SO THAT CONTRADICTS WHAT YOU ARE SAYING YET AGAIN. BTW FORTIFIED IS A BUFF JUST LIKE LOW PROFILE.

This seriously does not prove your point. It means that they were added to Low Profile BECAUSE they have small hitboxes and are difficult to kill, in order to make it more even for everyone.This is getting really disappointing. I suggest you ask the feedback people to explain in more detail, because I can no longer chat message them, (I think it’s too late at night)
