Over priced skins!!!!!

I’m not gonna lie Respawn. I’ve probably spent $120+ between my wife and I on this game. 

Now before I get started on my rant, I just want to say that I am BP level 106, with 100+ kills on all my legends. I play this game every single day, and I’ve put money into it whenever I can to support it.

In March, when the battle pass released, it was massively underwhelming. It’s taken 3 months for the season to finally take shape, and now it’s coming to an end. We all knew the skins were bad, and poorly made without much thought or creativity or even insight on how the players might feel once they find everything in the Season 1 rewards is virtually useless.

Now here I am, almost max level in battle pass, and the only thing I have equipped that I unlocked is the Silver Havoc skin and the orange Prowler skin. We saw online that a Bangalore skin was leaked shortly after Wraiths was given to us for free. (I don’t even like wraith). I was super pumped to see a new Legendary Bangalore skin, and given the fact that I don’t even own a good Bangalore skin, the hype was real. Until I looked in the store.

How, do you as developers, have the audacity to release Season 1 THEMED skins, and charge people TWENTY dollars for them?? How on earth? [Removed - CM] Does epic games bank account make you guys jealous? I find it incredibly stingy, and unthoughtful towards players who spent money on this battle pass and then continued to spend money on crates just to get a ton of white and blue quips and weapon skins....I’m glad that EA had no part in the development of this game, but I can already see they’ve taken over the micro transaction portion and I’m sorry but you won’t be seeing anymore money from me until something changes. I hope there are people who can back me on this because $20 for skins is too damn high.

    @alexevans182 I agree. I spent $65 in one damn day on the starter pack, founder pack, and $40 on apex coins and I don’t even wanna spend them because everything is just too much. It seems stupid to buy a $20 skin when I can save my coins for the several battle passes to come and spend it on that. It would be more worth it. Idk, it’s too much money. I spent 40 bucks on apex coins and if I wanted legendary items I’m only getting 2 for $40 damn dollars!! That’s crazy, I can go get a quarter at a dispensary of high quality for that price. The improvement in skins is awesome but yaw playing for taxing basically $20 for 1, just 1 legendary skin leaving you w/ approx. 200 AC left, $20 bucks gets me 1 skin and 2 apex packs. That’s wack. At least drop it to 1500 AC. I understand it isn’t Fortnite but even there legendary skins are a awesome fair $10. They would probably have more people buying the item if they lowered the price causing more sales and profit so I don’t understand why they wouldn’t at least consider it.

    Feel the same. Some have really made me want it so I broke n got it but it’s really just too much. The new spitfire skin is sweet AF but not for 20$.  I spent that yesterday on Skyrim SE and got 18gigs worth of content. I understand they’ve got to make cash or there’s no reason for the game to be around; completely understand.... I think 10-12$ a skin is a good medium, and like you said I bet they’d sell 1000 more skins a month by lowering the price.

    dude if they lowered the price, my wife and I would have both bought the Bangalore skin, the caustic skin, and the spitfire skin but for both of us to have those skins it would’ve cost us $120!!!!!! Blasphemy!!!

    :ealight_bulk: Don't forget that you'll be able to earn more Legendary items and enough crafting materials for a Legendary with the Season 2 Battle Pass:

    "Moar Legendaries!

    We’re adding three Legendary items to the Battle Pass and there will now be a Legendary item every 25 Battle Pass levels in the premium track, including at purchase (that’s level 1, level 25, level 50, level 75, and level 100). Our goal is to have a nice balance of cool character exclusives and cosmetics for everyone (like weapon skins). The level 100 reward will be an evolving weapon skin with a special recolor version for those players who make it to level 110.

    Earn Enough Crafting Metals for a Legendary Item

    We’re replacing the Voice Lines with Crafting Metal rewards. You’ll now be able to earn enough Crafting Metals (1,200) to craft the Legendary item of your choosing. So, if there’s an existing item you’ve been coveting, you’ll be able to get it in Season 2. You can still get additional Crafting Metals from the various Apex Pack rewards in the Battle Pass as well.

    We have a lot more to tell you about what you can expect in Season 2, so make sure you tune into our livestream on Saturday, June 8 to hear what else we have in store."

    Yep, I agree with this post. Bought the BP and basically got a bunch of items I didn't really care for. Plus here we are months later and I still dont even have any of the items I'd been hoping for. 

    Hope the season 2 changes bring about a little more satisfaction.

    I think the r301 bone skin was very nice of them to add now I dont fully regret buying the battle pass. But fully agree 1,000-1,500 skins only maybe 2,000 for a skin once every few months that glows and is epic, but thats it. Nearly 20 dollars a skin is just stupid and I would never buy one. I can buy tripple A games on a sale for that. By all means dont listen on this I just wont spend money on it, its more advice then a complaint because I can live without them.

    I will spend $20 dollars on a virtual 3d Action Figure when you send me a real one in the mail!

    I am not spending 20 dollars for a virtual action figure..... nuff said

    side Note: "I love Bangalore's new Skin.... Outland Warrior!!!!!!"

    I was going to buy it for 1000 Coin but when I saw it say 1800... My heart just sank....

    It comes around again I may pay 1800 for it....

    But that is still to much for a virtual action figure.. $18 Bucks!

    @alexevans182 What did you expect from a EA game , they tried this over prices bs on anthem which wasn’t a free game $60 plus No content laggy cheap EA servers. And skins costing $10 each ... And what happened to that game hmmmmmmm deads ville and it only got released in 2018

    @EA_Blueberryalexevans182 I somewhat agree but it is a free game and they need to make money
