Im tired of constantly being hounded about aim assist, PC players will win against anyways, they just want to constantly win its dumb ridiculous and frustrating because guess what you have better hardware, I shouldn't have to argue about why PC is superior, PC will always win a gun fight stop complaining and in the words of Revenant "Shut it Skinsuit!"
@TuxTart116 I get your point, but now with the Xbox series X and the PS5, the majority of PC players are even with console players, not everyone have the super-high end PC running at 240fps, most PC players have between low and mid-range PC'S, (some of them barely reaching the 60fps) so all the hardware "advantages" don't exist there, so i understand people complaining about aim assist.
In addition to that: M/K is hard to master, some people quit and use a controller instead, because it's not that easy, aim assist makes the game easier, so it's frustrating for M/K players that are struggling learning to aim being obliterated by controller players with insane aim only because they have aim assist.
@audiofilomxI play with a controller on pc but I don’t have a high fps I rarely get above 50 fps its usually like 40-50 sometimes lower or slightly higher and I feel like its mainly broken at higher frame rates but idk because there is one game I snap to everyone like aimbot then the next 30 games im average or trash so I don’t really think its aim assist I just think apex has it rigged or something to keep players engaged
@TheApexLegendNub Yeah that's what i saying, not everyone have the ultra high-end PC, i used to play with controller, and aim assist feels stronger at higher fps, dont know why, its just my own experience.
@TuxTart116 At first, I disliked any console user, then I got to realizing its not EVERY console user, its those who use strike packs and xim that I dislike because they're the ones who take the aim assist and turn it into an aimbot.
@TuxTart116 I don't think controller players should be hounded about it personally, but I do think Apex might need to take a look at the Aim Assist.
I didn't use to think anything of it, I've heard people complaining for a long time but I've never tried controller before. I got a controller a few months back though for another game and decided to try it out on Apex. The moving and looting and aiming feels super, super weird as someone who barely ever plays with a controller at all ever - but man is it ever easy to track once you get your crosshair on them - as long as you aim a little in their general direction it's enough to lock on almost.
I was amazed at how much I noticed the aim assist. I'm still not part of the delete aim assist gang because even with aim assist I still got wrecked a lot because there's only so fast you can turn with a decent sensitivity and there's a bunch of other disadvantages of using a controller compared to a PC - primarily in movement for me. But I don't think it's unreasonable for Respawn to look at changing the Aim Assist a little maybe, because from my first game on with the controller I saw a noticeable 30% - 50% boost in my damage and kills - as an incredibly mediocre player on a good day.
I played whole my life with M&K and very little with controller. I consider myself very bad when it comes to aiming. I do however dare anyone to win me in training room while I use M&K and he/she uses controller.
