Forum Discussion
@TheGhostOfKiev That is the whole point of this discussion, like I said in my first post I got a PeaceKeeper from a care package with a X2 Bruiser. Which is very ineffective.
I know you can change sights from rounds, but you can't from package weapons.

If anyone thorougly reads my post, they'll understand that I'm talking about care package weapons due to the scenario I mentioned, if some people only read the title and not the details then make a response then of course you'll think I'm talking about the optic in general. @darkdragon1142

His post and wording is fine and perfectly clear. I found it half a year later googling the same problem that still isn't fixed.
It's obvious he's talking about the care package as the starting Peacekeeper doesn't ever have a 2x "bruiser" on it by default, as it shouldn't. It's so annoying going to grab a better, "leet" shotgun from the care package, and it has this sight on it making it useless, especially for the PK that you have to ADS to "choke" it. I've gotten killed trying to pick my "lesser" shotgun back up in lieu of care package "upgrade".
Who the hell made this design mistake that still isn't fixed?

Hey @Sparkie075,
This thread is a bit older, but do note that care package weapons (aside from the Kraber) have had the option to remove or swap optics since Season 8, which you can find in the patch notes here.
- Locked Weapon Optic Swapping - For guns with fully locked attachment slots, like fully-kitted gold weapons and most crate weapons, you can now remove the optic and replace it with a different sight. This does not apply to the Kraber sniper rifle.
As others have mentioned, in Arenas you do have the option of which optics you'd like to use as well. Thanks for the feedback.
