Not removed, but it does need a bit of a nerf. I would increase the spread so it stays strong in CQC but can't be better then triple take for sniping. IMO it's not just it's strenght that is the problem, the lack of alternative (aside from wingman) is what makes it that OP. SMGs feel only good in the start, but as soon as people start picking up blue or better shields it takes to long to down anyone, compared to other weapons. There is also very little long range engagement, most likely 'coze skills allow fast and therefore relatively safe rushes, but that is a bit more complex problem I guess.
Drop rate isn't the problem. It's the range on it. Even with the choke I shouldn't be able to out duel an SMG at short medium range. Oh a weakling running up the hill... Shotgun sniped. Lol
- Here's a proper nerf: Reduce the number of shots to 4, convert it to energy ammo, remove the crosshair entirely.
- Personally I will take an Eva over a peacekeeper any day of the week. Peacekeeper is just so in-consistence.
IMO. The Peacekeeper needs to be kept the same as droprate. Worst change possible is reducing how often it shows up and now the squad with it has considerably advantage over the one that doesnt.
If anything they need to reduce the size of the magazine to 2. Make it be a strong weapon that can 2 shots if you can land both of shots, otherwise you are done for.Completely disagree.
I'm terrible with the PK but if anything other guns just need a buff.
This is my thoughts on the peacekeeper. Make it just like Evo8 and Moz, onky attachment is sight and bolt. The choke is whats frustrating, getting tapped for all my shields plus half my health from 2 buildings over with a shotty. I understand slow rate, high damage, close range shotty doing high damage, but the charge choke is what makes this gun over the top. Make the choke only fit the triple take, and the peacekeeper only gets the bolt and sight. There. Done.
I think it can do 165 headshot damage or there about, easily 100+ body shot, it's a stupid gun that takes the fun out of the game and it should definitely be nerfed. Not even snipers are this effective, and they're definitely more skillful weapons to use.
I have tried to refuse to use it. There are times when I land, have no guns, and refused to pick it up.
Every game I have lost standing in the last 2 squad positions have been due to a team of peace keepers running up and killing me like its nothing.
I usually run the eva8, and another gun, or an smg and another gun... but either way... despite being so annoyed seeing the peacekeeper all the time, I am probably going to have to start using it just to win those end game situations... and this makes me angry. I've never been one to play overpowered weapons to try to make myself look like I'm a good player.... but again.. I see them so often that I am to the point of having to start carrying one...
In all honesty, the gun in the hands of the average player, isn't bad. Its only an issue when you run into a player that can actually use it. As in, really good with flicks and tracking. If an avg player has one, I can dodge most of their shots and 1v1 them no problem.
I think the best fix for this would to make it more like a double barrel, that needs to be reloaded after every shot, giving a 2-3 second window between shots with it.More people would be on your side if you said nerf instead of remove. Removing a gun from a battle royale with a low variety of weapons is a bad idea. Also just because something is broken, doesn't mean it should be removed. You may be getting your clickbait, but you're not getting the right responses.
