One more follow-up to this.
Having had more time to see how the Longbow is, whether ingame, reddit clips, or twitch viewing, it seems to me like the rate of fire buff perhaps wasn't needed and is therefore a little "too hot". I'd revert its rate of fire but otherwise leave it be.
