ping = loss of control of character.

I have a recurring problem. I am playing ranked, and in a high stress situation which requires precise input. I accidentally press the ping button which results in me losing control of my character for a short period of time. Upon pressing the ping button, my character loses the ability to move, and will move in the direction of the ping.
