@Josh_2000_11 I agree. I would gladly go and play some solos when I'm not at least with 1 premade, since playing on your own in a trios is a big gamble. I either get toxics, or people who if they aren't jumpmasters simply detach and go 4-5 areas away from you, or people disconnect as soon as they get knocked down. Also in ranked I find a big issue with those who get knocked and they clearly were raging and somehow they get disconnected, I bet they simply turn off their wifi or something to not get the penalty. I played 10 games today, in 4 of them my teammates disconnected as soon as knocked down, in 3 of them we simply started as a team of 2 players only (in one of them the guy left because he was last pick and someone picked loba before him, cursed on mic and left), in other 2 games one teammate detached from jumpmaster and went elsewhere (super far from the team), and 1 was perfectly normal game, we played like a team we were communicating and stood togheter and even won that game. Making a mode called "solo" would filter those who want to play as a team and those who want to go rogue, plus even those like me who prefer to play a trio, heck I would go play solo too (I did enjoy that time when there was the solo mode, so please bring it back).
Even if it's weekend's only, or in a rotation mode with the duo mode, so 1hour and 30 min duo is available, and other 1hour and 30 min the solo mode available, I wouldn't mind to see that but please somehow bring a solo mode.

Unfortunately Apex Legends is a Battle Royale that revolves around teamwork with effective squad communication, respawning and character abilities that synchronise with others and are designed to assist a team.
These three concepts are very important in Apex Legends and are non-existent and useless in Solo mode. If you have an idea for how to solve this, I'd be interested to see it.

@CompleatBeetNobody wants to be forced to play with toxic teammates 24/7, respawning has a simple solution... disable it duh, Legends abilitys work the same wether you are solo or a team, passives are a different story but lets be honest they wont affect gameplay too much for example lifelines passive for her revive shield is useless but she still has her most important passive which is fast heals... each and every legend has their own strengths and weaknesses and you just have to find the right legend that suits your Playstyle
The lack of solos is why many players including myself barely even play this game anymore I log on long enough to do dailys sometimes only half the dailys and im out and going to something else when I actually want to play as a team its fine but most of the time I dont... so I either solo drop or head back to fortnite for solos/team rumble^ I totally agree. This games definitely needs solo ranked mode. OFC you can play this with solo. I Dont think im alone when saying im too tired and old to play with toxic teenagers who cant think (=game sense) or shoot at all. And no , dont have time to search for teammates.. i just wanna play few games per day and thats all, (well but not anymore)

stop using arguments like that, its just stupid. every teammate you get gives a * on teamplay. nobody cares, they only activate there mic if they want to harass somebody who doesnt follow is orders or sacrifice his life to revive him, or people who are tixic in the first place and use the mic to harass everybody.
and who cares that a few of those abilities of legends are not as good in solos as in trios. dont like solos? - dont play it! its for those who like to play solo, people who dont want to have teammates running away, hiding the whole match, jumping of solo and dying in the first 10sec, or just have no aim and cant play shootergames....
apex is NO FUN with randoms, and everybody who says different probably naver plays with randoms because they have a full premade squad and want to keep the easy to kill random teams in the lobby because they cant win any other wayFirst of all, by squad communication I meant the pinging system.
Secondly, if you're going to bark like a karen over a feature that doesn't suit Apex then just know nobody will even dignify you with an actual response.
Thirdly, I play with randoms a lot, @Rastigani, for your information. If you have bad teammates then that's your SBMM taking action.

You maybe mad over his comment, but he is 100% right.
Squad communication you said. Almost no one use it, in terms of talking to you, or wan`t say anything useful, same goes for the ping system.
As well as your playing randoms, we all due and we know what is the situation in there, 99,99% of the time your getting no brainers.
Every game i played(i`m away from Apex, until they fix the game), i got to rely pretty much on myself in 95% of the time.
Whole solo queue experience is ridiculous low. Its frustrating at the very least.
I can`t play with my friends all the time, and mostly i play random.
Let me describe you what is happening:
If i decide to play duos, its actually solos in handicap mode. He dies in the first second and leave the moment he is knock. How is that team playing i don`t know, maybe you will explain it.
Trios:
2/3 of the games i`m on handicap mode again from the legend selection, because someone is gone and every 3-4 game i`m starting with 2 people instead of 3. Big handicap mode.
Try to talk more about the team experience pls.
Most of the time or i should say 90+% of the time if i get knock its over. 90+% of the time its me who is doing 90+% of the damage, and my teammates are 30 seconds behind, even if i`m waiting them and trying to play on slower tempo and are pinging and talking like mad, but in this game even 1 second of time is very important, its the difference between death and life, difference between if your going to 3rd party someone or to escape from 3rd party. And 99% of the time when we get 3rd partied i`m screaming like mad 5 seconds before they come to move and that will get 3rd party and to move, and my teammates just sit and die. All they know is fight, fight, fight. Positioning for them is not a factor. They don`t know which fight to takes and which to not take.
As far as your excuses to not make solos, its completely irrelevant.
Firstable Devs just need to make a tip when they add solos mode(tho they said it million times already), that the game is balanced(very poorly actually) towards trios, so whoever wants to play solos to play solos, but should have that in mind. Its like a player request.
The only thing they are doing with no adding solos is losing player base.
As far as viable legends, they are all pretty much viable i would even say that way more legends will be viable during a solos and way more competitive, than they are in trios for exmaple:
Bloodhound will be insane strong
Mirage will be great
Octane will be insane
Wraith will be great
Revenant will be super strong
Giby very very strong
Rampart strong
Caustic strong
Pathfinder will be strong
Loba(lacking in trios) will be okay
Wattson will be okayBangalore(lacking in trios big time) will be okay
Crypto and Lifeline would probably be the 2 of the worst, but they would still be viable due to multiple factors. Yeah they are lacking, but its just 2 out of 14.
If you actually check the viability in trios, there is a lot less viable legends for trios, then for solos. So the funny part is that solos will be way more balanced.
I could pretty much play with 12+ different legends and will be perfectly viable with every single one of them ....And lastly as far as your previous comment that this is a BR, that doesn`t mean a thing. Warzone has solos and its doing great. Warzone has Solos, Duos, Trios, Quads.
At the beginning i was thinking that duos mode will kinda feel the void for complete solos mode, but it didn`t do it, because 90% of the time your just playing handicap.
- @Rastigani Dont know why you always on here crying about no team with randoms. You do not apply yourself for it then. I play up up to 15 hours a day on apex and can honestly say most my teams go well. So i dont think the randoms are the problem but maybe you are.
Go watch Ottr or ShivFPS and such teammates they got in 99% of the time.
And its not like we are playing different games and we don`t know. :D
Got more than 5k games in the last 2 season and random queue is exactly as we described - pain in ......
