Please disable melee on teammates

I can’t see what purpose it serves allowing this. I saw a video of a person punching a teammate through the ring to safety, but I actually tried that and couldn’t make it work. Seems like a really rare scenario anyway.

Please disable it.

Yesterday while on a zip line up to a tripod tower, my * teammate jumped up and punched me right before I got to the tower, so I fell and then had to run back to where the zip line was and do it again. Meanwhile the ring is getting closer.

in a different match same day another * teammate punched me while I’m looting a player I killed. That breaks the loot connection and you have to go do it again. 

I get that people want to clown but when you’re actually trying to win it’s really annoying and serves no purpose.
