Hi I'm a Korean user playing ApexLegends. I just woke up and saw crypto's emote...The one that looks to me as 'Kung Fu'.
I'm sure that Crypto was a character who was proud of his heritage, hanging a korean flag in his room, on the map and even he has it on his legendary skin. Of course I like this game particularly because of the diverse character backgrounds, It's why I play this game. I wouldn't have any complaints if he wasn't 'so korean' (obviously he's sayin IM KOREAN all over the place).
But then I saw the emote, To me it looks like Kung Fu...Is it because you guys suppose 'Ah they're all the same asians'?
I hope it's not, knowing this game. The emote name was 'swordplay', If it was referenced specifically from something else, please confirm. We want feedback about what this is.
Understand that the sentences aren't smooth because you're using a translator. I'm a lot angry now, and I have something to say about Crypto's emote. Crypto is a Korean character. However, kung fu is not Korea. Kung Fu is closely related to China, and Korea has Korean martial arts. Nevertheless, it is very unpleasant to have one of the emote's poses in the kung fu pose, and this is racist. Please correct the perception of non-cultural areas and fix emotes that are problematic before release.
@Kim_nockgeOne of my favorite things about Apex Legends is how much representation there is, I can't help but feel disappointed that got overlooked during development. Please don't ignore this and let Crypto's emote go unfixed, Respawn and EA. I want Apex to be enjoyable for everyone.

@CaptainLee888What if Crypto is in fact a Korean but he moved to China or grew up near China and knows some of both cultures? We don’t fully know Crypto’s entire Lore story yet and in the end it is a video game nothing has to be 100% realistic to 2021 standards in real life
