Please everyone let’s get EA to make it optional to have a sprint by default setting. Many players have controllers that aren’t as durable/safe enough to click The left analog stick a bunch of times just to run. We should have the option to sprint by simply pushing forward the analog stick and not having to push down the analog stick before moving forward. Having to constantly press the left analog stick just to run can be very tiresome and can in fact possibly compromise the controller overtime. PLEASE EVERYONE LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN. I LOVE THIS GAME AND IT WOULD BE PERFECT IF THEY MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

I sort of agree, I'm incredibly used to TF1 and 2 having auto sprint.

The game has incredible sound design so the only time I feel I don't want to run is when I know someone is near by so I they don't hear me sneaking around.

But 9/10 times I want to be running.

Hey all,
First of all, awesome work on Apex Legends. What is really missing is an option to auto sprint in the game to combat RSI. Having to press W/Shift the entire time while running is not good for gamers who spent a lot of time behind their desk, so I would really appreciate such an option.

Please allow for auto sprint selection at settings. Super inconvenient to have my controller malfunction in order to sprint.

EA needs to do some serious changes to their setting for console players, they need to make a setting for spring by default, custom button binds all across the board, and make a setting for auto sprint. Please please take this into consideration it would make gameplay so much better. I can’t emphsixe enough how stupid clicking in the joystick is to sprint it is so pointless when you can just move the stick and depending on how much, controls the speed at which you run, fortnite did a great job of this, allowing people to then bind joestick click to be their edit button. Please fix!

Desperately need this option! It’s very tiresome to have to press down on the thumb stick and there really is no reason to have a sprint button on controller. Please add this option asap. Thank you! Great game!

This would be a really welcome QOL for controller users and even PC players would benefit from it I think, just make a option for consoles where the character move speed is determined by how far you push the stick, that way we can walk if theres ever a time someone wants to do so
