Well if I'm a bad person, then I guess everyone I play with must be good, including the people who leave early. Which happens pretty frequently to me too, but you don't see me making posts complaining about punishing these people. Why? Because they weren't that great to play with in the first place, and it's a blessing not having to carry dead weight with me.
Your first "point" is to insult me, which is a pretty telling sign that I was on the dot about you needing someone to carry you. Congrats! Your only reason for why you're in the right, and I'm just a silly clown, is the assumption that I'm just an idiot who doesn't know how to play the game. Which is also pretty telling of how poorly you think of your teammates in the first place, regardless of whether or not they leave early. High horse much?
Next, your expectations of people have quite literally nothing to do with how people actually react to the situations at hand. You expect people to wait for you? That's great! You're only letting yourself down. If I ran around expecting people to be good at the game, only to see that they're not (which they really aren't.), should I get an option to punish them for that? Absolutely not, that's ridiculous. Just because you have expectations for people, doesn't mean you're entitled to people living up to them, which is really what this entire thread is about. Being entitled to someone's time because you think your enjoyment of the game is more important than theirs. It's pathetic.
It's really cute, you trying to make it look like I'm the one who opened up with insults.
When you join a conversation with, "the only people who complain about this suck," you're starting with the insults, even if you don't have the courage to clearly direct the insult.
You're the one who bashed people who don't know how to play the game. I'm cool with noobs. Everyone has to learn. And some people just suck. I'll respawn them almost as fast as someone who's great, and I'll try just as hard to get them back in the game. I want them to play and have fun, too. I could not care less about how bad someone is at the game. That was all you whining about that.
You just refuse to play the game as a team member. It's a team game. You're not a team player. The game wasn't designed for you, which is why they've been so resistant to a solo mode since launch and which is why solo mode isn't here anymore. Go play something with FFA so you don't ruin the game for others.

I only pointed out things that diminish my enjoyment of the game that I considered "bad team play", because they are. I'm cool with noobs too, doesn't mean I want to play with them. I couldn't care less about how bad people are either, but hey, if we're trying to point things out that ruin other people's enjoyment of the game, why not point out the biggest one? It's almost as if people leaving early isn't really the main factor of what you call a nosedive in team-play quality. And hey! I'm just "whining" about how bad people are, then you're throwing the biggest hissy fit I've ever seen. Cute aren't ya?
You try to make me out into some evil villian who does nothing but leave the game, and let people die, and that's cool with me. Once again, it says a heck of a lot more about you, and what you think about your teammates than it says anything about me. You can keep posting about how much of a team player you are, and about how hard you fight to keep people in the game. But the reality of the situation is that this entire thread reads like a spoiled child throwing a fit cause they can't get what they want on their own. Anger, anger, anger, and nothing of substance was said.
The game was designed for teams, I'll agree to that. I do my part too, pinging items, dropping supplies, respawning teammates when it's safe. But at the end of the day, dead weight is dead weight, no matter how much loot you shove into them.

If I’m playing pleb matches/ pubs. I’m not waiting to get revived unless my teammates have shown me they’re worth waiting for I like to watch once in a blue moon how they play sometimes but it’s mostly just a waste of my time. Maybe something can be done for ranked but if your playing regular matchups I just expect it come with the territory of being a “team based game”. You shouldn’t have to force players to stay in matches just to watch, you’ll find yourself short of a player base otherwise

Honestly, you're better off just playing through casual until you get paired with a couple of people who use their mics, sound like they're in their 20's, and actually know how to play or have good stats. Then, you socialize with them and play with them to see if they're friendly and if they are, you send them a friend request and cross your fingers that they accept. If they do, hurrah! You've got some competent people to play with on a regular basis. If not, oh well. It was worth a shot. Just carry on and try again with the next chatty pair that you get teamed with. This may be a team-based game, but the idea that the gaming world is so opinionated factors in to all of this. Everyone has their idea on how they want to play a game, team-based or not. If they spent money on a game, either through retail purchase or microtransactions, they're even more entitled to how they wish to play. The industry devs and publishers see this and while it is a curse for team-based gameplay, there's not a whole lot they can do without angering most of their customers.
