There needs to be a time limit for those who keeps leaving there team behind, like a 24 hour punishment would be nice. its irritating when one leaves and there is only two of your teammates trying to survive and it can be really discouraging for new players trying to play I've noticed when your a low rank the higher ranks leave and its not fair when we are trying to rank as well.
I don't know the feasibility, but I wouldn't mind if there was a "Quick Queue" for players to fill up team slots that have been vacated. It would put players into the action immediately since there is a game in progress in need of a player.
Sometimes I'm both of those people. I've played a bunch of games and usually have a good idea when my team is going to get wiped. Or sometimes my teammates act in ways that is really annoying or disparaging, and I don't want to be in their party anymore. Sometimes I got into a firefight and get rocked, and a teammate just want to roll some new randos. That's fine, it's their prerogative. So I guess it doesn't bother me as much.
But there have been a bunch of games where a teammate gets knocked and leaves, leaving 2 of us at the start of the game. I have to ask myself "Do I want to try and make 2p work? Or do I want to just roll again?".
@FRANTICSHO07ERMost high level players have a better sence of judging their team and know when its better to leave than to stay, they have more experience and can usually just tell
People leave for many reasons, if they added time penaltys to pubs aswell everyone would quit between the penaltys and sbmm...
Sometimes players leave for legitimate reasons as maybe a player is playing solo 3 areas away from them and have absolutely no intentions on helping their team, i honestly don’t blame the player off solo I blame EA/Respawn for not giving us SOLOS that we deserve, sometimes when your on a losing streak because of SBMM (losing within the first 30 seconds of a game) its very easy to get frustrated and move onto the next Im guilty of that myself some days... no matter what I try i just die lmao and otherdays I don’t have that issue i mainly have that issue when I don’t feel like playing as a try hard and after awhile I slowly turn into the first option I mentioned I don’t usually fully go off solo alone but I play a more solo playstyle while still staying in the same area as my team but more doing my thing so I can atleast enjoy the game...
Sometimes players land on the train and get ran over or get crushed by a door in a building people leave for that reason all the time, then between the disconnect, client issues, and other bugs people don’t actually leave on purpose but get kicked out
Some games your teammates are toxic as hell and just want to troll you, I usually just mute them but in most cases its better to just leave also if someone starts crying if everyone has a mic on the dropship in most cases its better to leave from my experience as they are never a good player and do stupid plays, if they are talking its usually fine but demanding for a mic just points to how trash they are
people also leave for medical/IRL issues like ive had people complaining of their ghaul bladder hurting or just a serious migraine, I had to leave one dsy because I had to go to the hospitol to see someone and another day my grandmas car was messed up so I had to see if I could fix it ( couldn’t fix a timing chain XD) also sometimes people knock on your door and need you atleast that happens to me, i fix most everyones things if plumbing or something simple is messed up
Honestly i could keep listing reasons to leave for the next 20 mins... there is a wide variety of reasons to leave and so scarce of reasons to stay
It does get kinda annoying though when you have someones banner and they rage quit within like 3 steps of a respawn beacon, or when you clutch a 1 vs 3 but your team is already gone but honestly i prefer the solo/duo playstyle so I actually love when teammates leave
