QoL: Could we get an option to disable shotgun hit indicators?

Shotgun hit indicators are nice for seeing why you didn't hit a full pump on your PK or Mastiff, but on auto/semi-auto shotguns like the Eva-8 and Mozambique (and also on the Alternator double tap hopup) they get in the way of seeing your opponents movement, Eva-8 being the worst offender.
A simple option to turn them-off would be appreciated.
