Question: so lifeline's drone doesn't work in the zone but crypto's does ?!

His drone is able to collect banners and access survey beacons.

The special part of his kit is being able to access parts outside of the ring, which I personally believe is an integral part of his kit.

Crypto's drone is also destructible by bullets, moving the drone in the ring also requires him to be in drone mode, making him much more vulnerable.

Lifeline should be able to use it in combination with the heat shield, though I've heard this was janky.

Not all similar things have to function similarly, each kit brings their own important things to the fight.

I'd also like to note that Crypto across the board doesn't really have a high pickrate, removing this would potentially make him even worse to use.
