R3 button (melee) sensitivity is too high

Do like me, and use a different button layout. My UI is is French, but I think I chose something called "Button Smasher".

No we need bad to something be good. If all weapons are good what is it the point to look for better stuff

I frequently punch in the air by "pressing R3 accidentally"... I mean I don't press it. It doesn't happen in other games I play. Is the sensibility too high for this button in #ApexLegends? Could you confirm that? And if so, could you change that?

My friend has this as well, he's now switched to a different control scheme, but it's not so much a 'fix' as all that happens now is that he randomly crouches rather than melee's in fights. Still preferable in a gun fight though.

OP - what pad are you using, my friend was using an Xbox 360 pad on PC.

PS4 controller.
Yeah, I know this is a way to "fix" it. But my question is: is it possible that developers put some high sensitivity for this button in this specific game?

I guess they could give an option for length of press. I don't see that happening though.

Maybe it is the level of stress. It definitely was the stress for me. 😋

True true. The intensity in this game is at another level when you are in the thick of it. Maybe holding those sticks too hard. Personally I spaz out and can barely hit people. My shot timing is way off. 

There is no possible way they inplemented any sensitivity other than the time you press it. Which means you actually fully press it down for it to react. And i assume for a melee action, this is bassically as fast as your input can go for any game. So theres 2 options. Either you smash your buttons like crazy, or your r3 button is at the end of its lifespan and doesnt give any resistance
