I've played numerous games in this new season and the rampart alt is WAYYY over powered. Literally downs you within a second or two even if you have purple shields. The amount of power they gave this character in this new season is insane. Makes it almost not worth playing because you get downed by a damn rampart alt half way across the map?? Apex really messed up on this. You need to nurf this character because it's definitely not fair in regards to other legend alts.
Just fyi it's 'Ult', for Ultimate. Alt would be an abbreviation for alternate. Anyways Sheila is usually more useful/scary to go against when she is just carrying it around, up close, as opposed to when it's stationed and you're mid to long distance away. You can hear the gun itself though whirling around, so if you're paying attention to the audio it usually gives you enough time to know she is using it, to not get surprised, and when it's stationed you'll see the telltale laser scope, which could mean instant death if you're out in the open, but if there's cover just run like hell to it before the bullet spray comes at you lol. But it's much more scary when there's a lot of audio going on and you get surprised by it up close, in which case yeah you're likely to get blown away instantly. I really don't see it as game-breaking imbalanced at all, but when you mowed down by it, in that moment it does seem that way lol.
Usually I pick bubble gum girl more to hear her crazy laughter and snarky comments. They crack me up.
Who cares about the gun? When your team gets slaughtered, you get to laugh the whole way down!
