Rank rework season 13 critic

I think one 1 RP per kill outside top 14 will create some new interesting, strategical choices. It will definitely CHANGE your entire approach how you need to play ranked but the current system is worthless IMO and only start to make sense when you reach Diamond 4 so I am willing to try this new ranked out before I start to hate it =)

At this new system, you will really have to assess the risk/reward situation EVERY fight you choose, or choose NOT  to engage in like

• Probability of winning it (your armor and loot situation)
• Probability of getting third partied (based on enemy teams left alive, your location in relation to other POIs where you need to pay attention how other teams drop and where other fights just took place)
• Probability that its the ENEMY TEAM vs your team thats getting third partied (same reasons as above)
• Time left on the round
• Your possible routes to the new circles (choke points, high probability of running into other teams etc)

This is basically how I feel most teams play in D3+ lobbies. So what these changes really means is that this seriousness will be more necciserly to think about even at lower elos if you want to rank up. So I dont think it has anything to do about caring about pros... But I think you are absolutely right that these changes will make it so much harder to find success as a solo queuer. So if anything, they seem to "only care about" premades. Or they want to add incentives for everyone to try to find premades for ranked. 

So all and all; I HOPE that this new rank system will remove the "hardstuck in the 4th tier-phenomena" (plat4 and d4 most common) that is unique to Apex ranked ladder, not in a good but in a bad way. Hopefully, this new system will allow low elo players to play around the same elo, lets say silver3 for as long as they dont improve and gradually advance through the rank IF they improve.

PS. I think you will only drop down half the previous tier when demoted.
