Many good things with the brand new rank system coming for season 13: no kill cap good, team kp good, more points to grind in each tier good, higher master rp points at 15 k good, rank demotion ok. ...

@Balladalidila That is exactly the problem... there is no way to stop less skilled players from going up in a BR rank system BUT by rewarding kills more than placement. Then when they get higher in the ladder they have to start playing safer to stay positive.
This system will prevent 95% of us from going up the ranks because there is no one who wants to start up a game to rat it out as a team and still be negative in the 4th ring OR do a squad wipe get 3 points and get 3rd partied and end up -35. If you did a squad wipe then you belong to that rank but the new rank system will punish you and get you lower in the ranks... with the silver and bronze players where all players will flock while only a few very dominant players will reign on top and laugh at us because we can't do 10 kills in a game.
I don't care about other game's rank system since this apex rank system was really fun you could grind and get better and only good players could get to master or good teams.
Other games did not have the success Apex had and now seems like it's gonna be worst than a boring ALGS tournament game for every rank game because in ALGS they don't lose points... they make points. We are gonna have the most rage filled experience losing points.
Example: you do a squad wipe in Bronze 4 because the team close to you decides to attack you because they don't want to wait 15 minutes to fight, you get 1 kill 2 assists. Another team hears this and comes for the 3rd party kills you when you are at the weakest; you are at minus 13 points. How many of those games do you want? Or do you want to wait 15 minutes to fight in each game and still risk being killed in your rotation being negative again? I don't.

You are absolutely right about that in the current matchmaking system, with its wide SBMM with no real correlation skill and ranked (at least not below D3) and way to generous RP handouts compared to RP entry cost.. But hopefully, the new system changes that. But we will have to see about that. It might be a big failure but all I say is that I am willing to give this new system a change because it looks like an intresting approach in theory and the current ranked system is obviously broken. In no serious competitive PvP should you be able to climb the ranks way above your actual skill level just by grinding.
But if the new system is more fun play is a totally different question =)
- @Balladalidila I don't like 2 of the changes in this new rank system but if I am right they will have no choice but to change those and adjust the new rank system which then will be a better rank system than right now.
So I'm watching I know someday it will be better than this maybe season 14 or before if people don't even play rank much.you guys really think this will do better ? i just read the stuff and i promise you, this is more horsecrap than the already broken system ... especially for solo q ppl.
I thought of stop playing ranked this season, and Respawn has made my decision very easy now.
It will be a hell of a blast reading all the rants over here in the next weeks !
ah btw :- @r1ggedgame yep I stop playing rank too, also I will be enjoying watching streamers that glorify that punishment rank system lose point and rage 2 games out of 3. Will be fun for that at least. They won't even reach Master. They wanted toxic team play they will get it.
