Ranked & Smurphing Players

I think you need to be level 200 in order to enter ranked matches. Hopefully that will put a stop to smurfing. 

@AcidicSoda44031Just had a level 44 teammate who ran off to play solo. Both me and the 3rd got knocked, the 3rd went "can you come get us?" The smurph player just twerked in a mocking manner and kept running further away.

Thanks for the "fun" match EA/Respawn! I love how everyone plays solo during RANK.

It just bloody happened again in the next match, but I don't know the level of the guy playing as they're a Steam user and trackers don't let you track Steam names.

But here's the first match, we died at the Crypto Scanner:

to be honest this is wide spread I play on ps4 and have ran into smurfs and they are on the Xbox too. I have problems with some team mates running 500 meters away and get downed or I'm looking for ammo and they leave me behind go 500 meter away I have enemies, I ping, they don't come or they start to come I get down and the others get taken out as well match lost. Ranked its meant to be about team work.

@Midnight9746Bronze lobbies in a nutshell: you get obliterated by a 4k dmg player who then gets 3rd partied by a 4k dmg player who isn't even the 4k dmg kill leader. The devs don't care about the experience of newer or weaker players.

Haha, I dont defend smurfing but its kinda funny when you complain about smurfs when you obviously also is "smurfing" in Bronze since uou said that you "tried to get back to plat" (so I assume that Platinum is your highest achieved rank?) And yes yes I know that you maybe technically arent smurfing since the strict definition of that is when a high lvl player creates a low level account to play in low level lobbies. And I ofc also know that the game has a built-in smurf feature called soft-reset. A Diamond 4 player can just take a break from ranked for two splits and he will be back at Silver4. 

So I dont blame you since Its respawns design but its still a bit hrmm curious to be upset about smurfs and bad, throwing teammates, when you in fact are a platinum player, playing in bronze =) My point is that it doesn't really matter whether its a platinum player who created a new account or if its a platinum player who got soft-reset, for the "true" bronze players that got killed in bronze lobbies, does it? 

And yeah, I agree that they should increase the required level for ranked to at least 100, maybe higher. 

@Solim66its clear that they don't care, same with EA, both this thread and the one about sounds getting louder or going extinct has gotten no EA/Respawn response at all, while things like packs giving legendaries were fixed within the first 24 hours of it occuring.

Matchmaking needs to STOP shoving low levels who are clearly smurphing into matches.

This is destroying the game…

what is the point in giving the option to report someone when you do NOTHING!!!

The best thing to do is to raise the ranked entry requirements to 200 minimum that will stop the smurfs, my friend is going to not play anymore!!! And he used to love the game.

Please please please sort it out. And also the latency lag is the worst it’s ever been. Hundreds of times I’ve been caught behind a door or behind cover on my television set and yet when I see you they kill me I’m not in cover……

smurfs rank up really fast..its not a long term issue.. probably some of the guys you think are smurfs arent

Level 50 and below with 500+ kills are smurfs…
