Ranked is way too placement biased.

For me, rank should be the metric of how good player you are. Yeah its not always accurate and in battle royale its hard to get right, but this current point system is WAAAY out of whack. Like if I ...

Have to realize, this is a battle royale. Winning is the point of the game. Not how many people you can kill. That would  be TDM. Not taking unnecessary engagements is big-brain strategy. Being able to run and gun is fun, yes. But everyone seems to be so focused on 20-bomb & 4K badges, they disregard regular game-play. I think that's the real toxicity in the game. 

Regardless matchmaking is garbage. Regular solo-queuers cant play the game. The game is no longer fun to play. Which makes it no longer fun to watch. I no longer watch streamers or ALGS tournaments. If players cant relate to the "fun aspects" of the game, play-time and viewership will drop. 

Sadly, there is no word on improving SBMM for season 20. Or am i mistaken?

@USAno54 Yeah winning is the ultimate goal but I doubt you win more than 5% of your games. So... rank is meant to be Skill based which is about fighting skills not about hiding skills. Hello?!

BR is a first person shooter which means you have to shoot and kill , hiding is not a skill. Any 5 yo can learn to hide in a few hours.
