Ranked luggage?!?!?!??!

Today while playing ranked with a friend, one of the random players asked us if we were a duo and after we answered that we were talking in discord - he suicided himself. My friend and I played safely, just not to screw up our points, but our 3rd sat in the round until the end of the game to get his points. We finished second. Then the guy said - "Thanks for the points guys, I reached platinum 4 without making a single kill."

Apparently the ranked system needs much more serious measures and punishments for such idiots.

Suicide - minus 250 points. (unless they take your banner)
Trolling - ban for 1 day.

    @TBTFW they should add at least an option for reporting, like "Gameplay sabotage" and make you leave a comment about what he did... I recently played a ranked match where I was the jumpmaster and one of the guys simply dove solo right at the beginning while we were in the dropship still, died and started cursing. Sometimes they simply start sabotaging the game because you took "their" character, will go around and teabag, shoot to "call" for enemies then jump off the map or suicide with grandes...or when they go as jumpmasters and start to f around (while being in ranked) and dive in spiral or changing course mid-air while everyone is already landed underneath you just to make you lose because you picked their champ..... or a better one, someone started becoming super toxic with me for picking Bloodhound in ranked (that guy died, the other one followed me and i got almost 2k damage at the end of the game with 5-6 kills, while constantly being harassed)...I agree the punishment for trolls and saboteurs should be harsh, it ruins the whole mood and game experience in an instant.

    @Astropithecus_93 We thought about killing ourselves, so he can't get points. Indeed, the game needs more report-ban options. Some idiots just don't deserve to play the game. The ranked system must return to its original state
    1 kill = 1 point.
    Only the top 3 receive 2x points.

    @TBTFWit is annoying because if you try to report them as something else you might get even banned for false reporting, but what can we do if they are clearly ruining the game and there is no punishment for it nor option for report. I hope they introduce something ASAP, since other games have such options and punishments.
    p.s. i also hate when i try to ask them why they are doing that and they even go "it's my game I do what I want" and then start cursing for even daring to ask

    @Astropithecus_93 Now I understand why they removed the dive trail from the diamond. But I'm still of the opinion that the first ranked system should be returned. As far as I remember - then if you die and they don't take your banner, you don't get any points. 90% of the current diamonds were gold in first ranked and cried - omg, ranking is very difficult.

    @TBTFW Yes, if somebody dies and you don't take their banner they do not gain points beyond when they died and that position.
