Ranked mode is mostly a negative experience

Add more way to gain RP, why tf do you automatically get negative points just for playing, its a bit counter productive if you ask me.

Just make it so you lose less RP or none at all, that way you can still actually work your way up and it doesnt seem like a never ending grinding nightmare of back and forth bs.

Negative RP entry fee is ruining this game, making people camp more, making people only aggressive when its a low HP third party

I wait 10 mins in queue to lose points, really stupid respawn

    Just went from 3800 to 4200, back down to 3950, this game is officially pointless, dumb and a stupid waste of my time.

    I don't know why you guys at respawn think its fun to lose RP every time you get 10#th place or higher, but yeah its not, its pretty stupid

    @Bones3O Without the loss of RP, players could simply make their way to Predator by playing a lot of games even if they are below average skill.

    RP loss balances players into their respective skill sets. If you are having trouble advancing, it might be a sign that you hit your level and if partying up with 2 other players does not help, than that's a for-sure sign that you are placed into your correct ranking.

    Of course the more you play the better you get so keep grinding away!

    Yeah I think it would be alot better if everyone could reach predator if they put the time in.

    And still not everyone would get predator, because you need a top 5 finish with kills to gain even a couple points.

    The fact that damage doesn't give any RP is stupid and promotes even more hide and seek.

    This is just going to make people quit the game if you offer content that is impossible to obtain without a premade group.

    It's not balanced either. The fact I can drop 1000 damage and 10# place and the game still steals RP from me is just stupid.

    At this point I need top 5 and 3+kills or assists every game to actually feel like I'm getting somewhere.

    And that's about impossible when half the games I play, the jumpmaster picks a horrible spot, and our "team" doesn't even fight together. Leaving me to run for my life and try to hide for a couple points.

    I already have to wait 5 mins on the queue because almost nobody is playing ranked because the RP system is broken AF and who wants to waste their time on such a trash game mode.
