Every game has ranked based on some sort of level. Well that doesn't help anyone. I can play for five days straight without getting a single kill and be level 25 and on the same note some really good player could play for a day and become level 25. But if you get it to be based off of kdr, any good player would more than less likely only be able to play one game and then immediately be bumped to a higher level

I’ve seen a lot of people requesting a matchmaking system based on kills or wins or something like that. I posted a matchmaking idea of a different sort that is based on playstyle rather than “skill” specially. Wouldn’t mind some feedback on that, if you cared to glance at it (it’s in the recent posts).
@WiseOldMoose In fortnite, there's an option for normals or "arena" which is basically ranked. They can offer this option to the player base who want to play with people more along the lines of their own skill. I very much support that idea, rather than a forced ranked in every game. Thoughts?
Games are about winning. Kills just come with wins. Ranking system should be on wins not kdr. I don't want to be paired with hot dropping suicide kill stat padders. That is not even a practical play style if you were matched up properly.
The ranking system should be ELO based on placement or wins. This isn't a team death match where most kills wins the game no matter how many people want it be based on that. BR is not for everyone.

Ever watch the euros playing the apex pro discord scrims? When you are matched up with people going for the win at your level, Hot dropping or running and gunning for kills is not a practical playstyle, Neither is camping in the same spot whole match. You really have to adapt your playstyle depending on the match and RNG you get.
No one that plays or played in top tier teams cares about kd/r. Its the casuals that get hyped about it.
Since most people playing ranked actually want to improve, they would want equally good enemys.
Instead of using kd/r simply put in a elo system like in any good gome.
Or if it has to be kd/r, mix it up with placement/wins.
I would prefer a simple elo system however. Its easy to script and less of a pain to follow.
