@yejlin and sadly creating new accounts to do a "rookie to pred" grind isn't considered smurphing, but it is when you use that new account to curb stomp lower lobbies to farm kills and damage.
Guess what happens when a pred level player is playing on a new account? They get a bunch of kills and damage as they move through the ranks, oftentimes very slowly. They're basically farming lower lobbies in a "legit way".
Most of the smurphs I see are diamonds and masters who just sit in the silver rankings until the end of the split or season where they quickly grind out of it, only to do it again next season. Why? To boost their low ranking friends! That's why.
