@N2DxVIPERR It is a terrible idea. Yes we would all like to play our favourite map. With population dropping it will spell the end of the game. Same thing happened in pubg. They added map selection within 6 months most regions were dead. Only the really big region survived and now only Asia has any population to it.

This is also part of the reason fortnite is still successful. They have only one map that changes from time to time. So there is no choice and no splitting of the population between maps.

TLDR map selection will be the final nail in the coffin of this game if it is implemented.

@Acumental maybe your right, but its not a big of a deal in my opinion.. I mean adding 1 more map to the rotation. I understand what you're saying about the map selection, players will play their fav map until it gets boring and they'll just stop playing, cuz other maps simply suck for them. These days with the rotation people might not like some maps but they still play it, so putting kc back wouldnt be a great disaster after all, I think.

@AcumentalWell, I've stopped playing because of Olympus. I would still be playing if I could choose maps. I think Fortnite sucks. And I think with Olympus, Apex is going in the Fortnite direction.

@FunkyDoodled They just need to add all maps into rotation but not let you choose which one. Yes sometimes you play a map you don't like but then the map you like comes up and you feel like it's a breath of fresh air.

One of the developers at bluehole (made pubg) said the biggest mistake they made with their game was letting people choose the maps they want to play. They just should have kept all maps in rotation and be done with it.

From what I've read people like Olympus because it looks nice, is bright and has vibrant colors. I have also read that people grow tired of it. So personally I think Olympus is the beginning of the end of Apex. Sadly I really do think so. Adding mediocre stuff to something good kind of makes it not so good...

@FunkyDoodled I played it for about 2 days before I realised I couldn't turn off crossplatform. Uninstalled the game! The little I played I couldn't stand it. Respawn back to their 3rd/4th/5th party ways.

@Acumental Yeah, I guess it is turning into a console/kiddy game. I think crossplatform could actually be the big problem here, there is no way to make both camps happy, and trying to compromize will just make both camps unhappy. I am a dedicated PC player. I think PC and console should be separete with two different approaches.
