Re: Broken Moon and mobility

@NickBeam27

Oh, I'd say it has way more than a season or two to go. I'm just not sure how many resources Respawn will continue to poor into it given the inevitable population decline and the fact that they have a new game in the works.

Though, like you, I'm not sure if that's good news or bad.

    @reconzero New game in the works you say...... ??
    So like TF, Apex Legends moved to another title with a couple minor miniscule changes. Nice reset to bring back the billions?

    I think the rumor mill said they're working on something set in the TF/Apex universe that will be single player again, but not TF3. Not sure what that might look like, or if it'll get the band back together... but time will tell.

    @reconzero Oh hell yeah!! I'm all for single player, especially in the Apex/TF universe.
    I would just love a bot mode for Apex - BR, you set the difficulty of the bots and solo or duos and go ham. No smurfs, no hackers/cheaters.... and could still enjoy some Apex aspects without the frustration. But I don't see anything like that coming anytime soon. It would be tough to program bots to use abilities etc...

    I love the single player campaign games and stories the most. Multiplayer is ok, was a lot more fun back in the 2009/2012 times. But multiplayer games now just feel so manipulated and money drivin and focused. And players will do anything to beat their opponents. Its killed the multiplayer mode for me.

    Would absolutely love an Apex single player campaign mode with a great story.

    I think there are a lot of people, like you, like me, who would love it if that's what it turns out to be.

    Yeah, legend bots is probably a little beyond where the the tech is at the moment. On the other hand, enemy bots in Halo Reach Firefight behaved in some pretty convincing (and challenging) ways, and that's thirteen year old programming. So I'd say it could be done. They just have to want to do it.

    I used to play a lot of BO2, playing bots, on max difficulty is super challenging and a blast. Used to max out the number of AI bots and difficulty and run the bolt sniper with iron sights only.

    I could see Apex like this being amazing, even without abilities. just straight up bot fire fights. Could practice trick moves and play different guns I don't normally use. I can see the potential to the amount of fun I could have, cause I generally love the movement and aim mechanics and many other things. Its all the rest of the issues and lack of up keep that casts a dark gloomy shadow on all that is good about Apex.

    Dare to dream I guess.
