Re: Car exploit

So I looked it up and the bug is caused by abusing an ultimate. I initially thought this was happening in "Need for Speed", or another game with cars, due to the tittle. 

The passengers can be hit, but the driver cannot be hurt, however if you use arc stars, you can damage the driver as well.

As mentioned by @OldTreeCreeper, naming and shaming is a rule to prevent people from being targeted, especially from false or incorrect accusations. While it "protects" rule breakers, its meant to keep players from harassing other players.

    @Midnight9746 Ok, I give you that, regarding prevention. But when its proven, and this one is really obvious.
    Thats the problem, or whats wrong, even if its 100% obvious you protect those people...
    tolerance is great but sometimes near foolness, and nowadays sometimes becomes more often.

    @II-LAZZARUS-II You say "you protect" as if I work for EA or Respawn.

    Everyone here is a player just like you, and those with the "Champion", "Hero", and "Guardian" ranks are volunteers. Only the ones with the EA rank works for EA, but they're not apart of the team that works on Apex Legends.

    @Midnight9746So you can't protect anybody, if you are not an employee of someone?
    I would always protect my family, my friends in generall.
    You have choosen one said with your posts, no matter if you work for somebody or not.

    @II-LAZZARUS-II not so. As I mentioned, the law works in a similar fashion. Innocent until proven guilty and certainly not judged by Joe public.

    You would be brought forward as a witness in the case, as I presume you did your bit and reported what you saw, through the correct channels, protecting your fellow player from being on the recieving end of this cheating exploit. Ahq is not the correct platform for reporting cheaters. 

    Cheaters are being banned by the tos team. Sometimes in large swathes, with their names removed from the ranked leaderboard. I perticularly like those ones. 

    There is only us and them, when it comes to cheaters trying to ruin our game time.

    @OldTreeCreeper I understand all of that, but sometimes I wish a little bit more authority or with other words, severe reactions. Sometimes it has to hurt, and I am not meaning physical violence. Just to clear that out.

    @II-LAZZARUS-II based on my experience with Apex, somthing like this exploit will have a subsequent banwave of some description. They may have had their fun, achieved their masters badge and many even a high end of season rank, but all to no avail.

    Hideouts, usually at the very least,  will take their badge, their rank and their fun, along with their friends ones, in one fell swoop at end of season, and may even take their account. 

    That's good enough "hurt" for me.
