Bullpups are a simple way to decrease the overall length of an assault rifle for CQB.
In truth Bullpups have inferior recoil due to the weight balance being so far back in the stock.
Bullpup pivot is in the stock, so the recoil is naturally worse!
Bullpups are barrel light and stock heavy.
But, since the barrel length is the same as a standard rifle the accuracy is as good as a standard rifle,
but with a more compact size.
The compact size gives the Bullpup increased hip fire accuracy over a standard rifle.
Thus, the Flatline should have better hip fire over the R301.
This means the Flatline should have standard accuracy, bad recoil, and improved hip fire ability.
Bullpups have mainly close range abilities with some mid range abilities.
In many ways the flatline is perfect.
But it should still have some mid range.
The Flatline should not be able to beam enemies at 50 meters like the R301.
But the Flatline should be able to beam enemies at 25-30 meters.
As of now, the Flatline can only partially beam enemies at 15 to 20 meters which is terrible and puts the Flatline in the position of an awkward SMG.
