Re: high tier shields in a br game? balance is key
there are so many ways of dealing with people that have better shield then you.
Having a high tier shield helps.
But grabbing advantige in this game is way more important then good loot.
- 3rd party
- Ambush
- Positioning
- Trapping
- Good teamplay
- Flanking
If you land 1 longbow shot on a person with a purple shield you already have the advantige with a white shield.
This game almost never has 2 teams running into eachother with fair conditions.
Almost all the time 1 of the 2 teams gets ambushed or has a better position.
And that advantige is way bigger then a purple shield over a white or blue one.
And a person with a purple shield losing to a person with a white shield straight sucks?
If i ambush you with a R99 and you have a purple shield and i have a white one.
That gun fires so fast and hard the 50 HP difference is non existent the moment it becomes a fair 1 on 1 shootout.
That is if you ever had a chance to respond.
And so many weps are situational.
In skilltown having a peacekeeper is a huge advantige.
But in cascades i realy prefere a Carbine or any other medium ranged automatic.
If the final circle is on a open field i prefere a longbow.
And after 10 min in the game if you chased gunfire and got a few kills in 9/10 games you will have some purple armors in your party.
And i have no idea what realistic bullet travel is like.
Im not a gun expert are you?
All i know is im not having problems hitting my shots becouse of travel time.
So there is no reason you can't learn to deal with it.
And yes, Hitting a pathfinder sometimes feels like hitting Neo from the matrix.
Can't hit the darn bot.
