Re: Huge lag spikes/Game freezing for multiple seconds

@EA_Aljo I have powered cycle my router/modem, as well as disconnect/reconnect my Xbox One X. I play on Virginia servers as they are closest to where I reside on east coast. My ping on the two servers use to me At MOST was 32ms. I have switched between 5g/2.4 to determine if it would improve or hinder my gameplay. I am on a wireless connection being no more than 10-15 feet from router with 1 wall interfering with the frequency waves. Problem started At approximately 2:45am EST. I monitored the ping via website live data stream for my servers. They were hovering at low 69ms to highs of 247ms. However the server listing on game only showed the lower statistics of the latency. I am unable to hardwire my console at this time unless I obtain some power line adapters. However I have not had this issue prior to this morning via wireless, and I am seeing I am not the only one having similar issues with lag.

    Hello, @Lord_KiraUchia.,

    Wireless is the number one reason for disconnects and lag. Since you can't get hardwired, I'd suggest trying alternate DNS servers as I suggested in my last response.

    So lets start this off, to acctually fix this issue 

    1: Wired or wireless, Now what i understand you got Wired?
    2: What internet speed do you have?
    3: Have you made an Hard restart?  (Hold in the xbox off button for a few seconds) this will make your xbox turn off.
    4: Do you have lag spikes/game freexing on other games or only limited to Apex?

    5: Have you tried using a DNS connection?

    6. When did this happen?, new patch, since start etc?

    7. Have you tried to re-install the game?

    8. Xbox is up-to-date?

    2. I average 100 mb download speed, 20-30 ping
    3. Yes
    4. Only apex, I’ve tested other br’s as well as other multiplayer games
    5. I tried using a dns in the past but I felt as though it got slightly worse.
    6. I believe since season 3 was released with the new map
    7. Yes
    8. And I have the original black Xbox 1 if that’s what you mean, but yes my Xbox is updated.
