Re: Items for reporting cheaters should be clarified.

@olnon Here's every current report option we have and what they are for, (at least to the best of my knowledge).

Cheating Options:

Spoiler

- Aimbot / Aim Snapping: It refers to aimbot and soft aimbot. (Soft is when they appear to be "missing" a lot of shots, but they're actually still hitting the other player)

- Gameplay Exploit: Wall hacking, glitching under the map, abusing bugs and glitches, (such as when you were able to put Sheila on Crypto's drone, launch the trident super high using supply bins and Octane's jump pad, etc.), this also could include the use of strikepacks, xim, and other controller cheating software, and boosting players in ranked

- Impossible gunfire and/or recoil: It means the player either has no recoil, or they're hitting players that are either out of line of sight, or hitting them in a way that they shouldn't be able to, (bullets curving to hit, bullets shooting through or around walls, etc.)

- Impossible Movement: Anything movement that requires macros or software to preform, aka any kind of movement that a player cannot preform themselves without external help from programs.

- Smurfing: Being low leveled, (like level 1-100) but playing like a TTV pred pro player who's basically in the ALGs level of skill. (This also was for when you saw diamonds to pred players in rookie to gold matches, but S17 said "your current rank means nothing", so that report reason is out the window)

Gameplay Disruption Options:

Spoiler

- Abandoned Match Early: Mainly for ranked, when a teammate just ditches the team when they can still be revived or respawned

- Colluding with Enemies: Teaming with other squads, (can be for when they purposely draw enemies closer just to get you killed, since they're using another team against you, although that's more of a sabotage report)

- Inactive During Match: They're AFK and/or not moving at all

- Sabotage: This one is more of an umbrella report option. Its used for instances like when players draw in enemies to get you killed, teammates running off solo leaving the squad weak, throwing you off the map by running you into things during a skydive, punching you off cliffs, sometimes players would kill the whole team if they're the jump master by landing off the map, etc. but honestly its such a broad term, I wouldn't be surprised if many players used it in situations where it the action of the other player wasn't actually sabotaged. Again, its more of an umbrella report where there's a number of reasons why you might consider someone to be sabotaging the match. If anything, this one needs an optional text box players can fill out so there's an actual reason for the report

Harassment / Threats Options:

Spoiler
- Hateful or Offensive Speech: Cursing, discriminating, threatening, harassing, etc.

- Stalking: Not quite sure how this one applies, but I'd imagine its more for when a player is being creepy and constantly trying to get into your matches and such

- Threats of self harm: Basically threats of hurting you in-real life, and I think it also covers if they go like: "I'ma do this to myself if you do this in the game"

Inappropriate Content Options:

Spoiler

- Drug / Firearm References: When your username contains a drug and/or a gun reference, (or is directly that), or if you're talking about drugs and firearms in the text/voice chat

- Inappropriate Name: Any kind of offensive name, it includes curse words, 18+ content and/or actions, hate speech (such as discrimination), threats, etc.

- Obscene Content: This one is like sabotage as it includes a lot of things, but it boils down to 18+ talk in the text/voice chat. It can include hateful, offensive speech, threats, etc. based on the content and severity based on what it is

- Spam: Mainly if the player sends the same thing into the chat box over and over again, or trying to get you to go to a website, etc.

A lot of these report options are straightforward, and I think some of them are there to cover EA and Respawn's backs, (like the stalking one) in case those things manage to happen and someone tries to take action against EA and/or Respawn for not having anything in place for it.

Its also possible that some of the descriptions may not be accurate or fully correct, or doesn't include certain actions that would fall under a report option, (like I didn't think that wall hacking is reportable under "gameplay exploits", but it is). Hopefully there won't be any problems with it.
