Hey I can see that you're referring to the L-Star's large projectile size and let me tell you: Yes.

It is a double-edged sword though! Those large projectiles can seriously blind your enemy if you can atleast land some of the shots- I got bamboozled by an L-Star once as I couldn't retaliate (due to being blinded by the blast!) It's a highly underrated gun in my opinion!! Trust me, if you can train yourself to the recoil and focus on your target- it will payoff! I've been using the L-Star more lately due to it's unpopularity, and it can really chew enemies up.
