Re: List of Requested Buffs

I also made some ideas for Partnership Upgrades in the Evo Upgrade Menu, using the same skill points that already exist.

By having certain Legends in your squad, you could gain special effects based off them.

  • Bloodhound tends to be tracking or marking upgrades.
  • Crypto also tends to be marking upgrades.
  • Seer is heartbeats and silence.
  • Vantage's is her passive.
  •
  • Bangalore is smoke effects and escapist speed. Some may get a small bombardment added to their ult.
  • Fuse is clusterbombs, smaller than his, added to their abilities. Alternatively they could choose to stack an extra grenade.
  • Ash is snare effects.
  • Revenant the Silencer is Silencing effects.
  • Maggie is the highlight on hit. Might allow reduced speed penalty with shotguns.
  • Ballistic is tracking or overheat. Some allow for sling or similar object. If he takes Sling-Shot, then their sling is affected likewise off their own armor.
    • Revenant the Mobile gains the ability to target enemies with his pounce, if he doesn't already have that capability.
  • Pathfinder allows them to gain access to either ring console or recon beacon, of their choice.
  • Wraith allows her passive and sixth sense. Some get a minor phasing passive.
  • Octane allows for gaining health regeneration (his passive, but maybe weaker).
  • Revenant the Mobile allows people swift sneak and high climbing. Revenant the Silencer instead gains the low health highlight since he already has that. Yes I would like the Silencer back, with the current, that's why both are listed like this. Two different chassis, two sets of abilities, same-ish person underneath. Er, same base person, however they may be ever slightly different in their views as they have had slightly different experiences, such as where they've been over the few past months.
  • Horizon allows softer landings, and can allow Valkyrie a slight boost, or penalty?, to her passive and ult, especially ult, 5% higher ult, the reduced gravity effects will give her softer landings, higher ultimate, more vertical power on the jetpack, but might reduce airborne mobility/rotation/redirection a little.
  • Valkyrie can give her allies access to a little boost pack, or mini thruster, which is like a small version of the jetpack, minimal fuel and possibly not as much power, but they would allow for a higher ultimate when they are joining her skydive.
  • Alter... probably her passive.
  •
  • Gibraltar would allow for a gun shield or reduced damage taken. Maybe a small barrage added to some ults.
  • Lifeline would grant a self revive or faster revive speed. Also the ability to tell doc to revive her, aka cast her own passive on her.
  • Mirage would allow cloaking when reviving or respawning allies, and when downed. Preferably also when being revived, for both them and Mirage, please upgrade his passive.
  • Loba would allow them to see good loot around her. Useless if they run too far away from her.
  • NewCastle would allow them to revive him using his revive shield.
  • Conduit would allow them to gain a speed boost when heading for their allies.
  •
  • Caustic would allow them to gain Nox Vision in his gas. If he is immune to enemy caustic gas, may grant them immunity or resistance as well.
  • Watson would grant them passive shield restoration. Maybe extra Accelerant stacking as well.
  • Rampart would grant them the ability to boost LMGs. Also boost reloads behind her cover if she chose that perk.
  • Catalyst would grant them the ability to not trigger enemy spikes, and resist enemy ferro walls. Doesn't make them immune to spike damage if someone else triggers them.

These perks are to be purchased with skill points from the current evo system. Players must decide if they want to forgo one of their own perks for a perk from an ally.

Crypto has more than the above. Most of the perks affecting him also affect Hack (his drone) in another way.

  • Bangalore: if not already present, gives the drone a speed boost when shot at. Once every 15 seconds, the drone will release a smoke cloud when shot at.
  • Fuse: the drone fires a knuckle cluster wherever it is aiming when it finishes casting EMP. Alternatively, lets Crypto stack an extra grenade and gives his drone 3 grenade silos. These silos are used to drop grenades while flying. The drone can drop 3 grenades before having to return to Crypto to rearm. While in Drone View, you gain access to your grenade wheel and can drop up to 3 before having to recall or return the drone to your body to be interacted with to rearm. They have half or one third range of throwing, but fire twice as fast, like a G7 or 30-30.
  • Ash: The drone snares enemies hit by EMP.
  • Revenant the Silencer: Enemies hit by EMP are Silenced.
  • Maggie: Enemies hit by EMP are highlighted for everyone.
  • Ballistic: Crypto can equip a third weapon with no attachments. This weapon will be mounted on the drone and replace the trigger cast. The drone can only hip fire, and is very inaccurate when moving. After casting EMP, the accuracy is increased for a short duration. Alternatively, you could choose that enemies hit by EMP are afflicted with Overheat. EMP will have red sparks within it if it will overheat enemies, as a further warning to the extra effects it's been amplified with.
  •
  • Pathfinder: The drone can scan care packages to reduce the cooldown of EMP. Might not have the permanent reduction though.
    • Second Alternative is ring console access for both Hack and Crypto.
    • Third Alternative is Grapple (alternative trigger use). Can be used to pull people around for a couple seconds. Use on ally to move them, but you better have their permission or they might report you for sabotage. Use on enemy to chuck them into the void, or otherwise pull them out of cover, so long as they don't shoot the drone in the process. Use on your body to pull you up somewhere, gaining a couple stories in height if you're good enough. With the cloak ability, it may look like the drone is pulling thin air, or glitched after missing with the grapple. Of course, you can also use the grapple to move the drone to some other terrain, especially if it's under fire and you need to get it to cover swiftly. Same cooldown as Pathfinder.
  • Wraith: When shot at, the drone will briefly phase. Once every (wraith's tac cooldown) seconds. If paired with Bangalore's, you can change prioritizing in settings. They don't proc at the same time.
  • Octane: The drone will recover health when not under fire. You won't have to recall it to repair it each time it takes damage anymore.
  • Revenant the Mobile: When you cast EMP, the drone receives a temporary shield for a duration. If the drone can somehow cloak, the shield cloaks with the drone. Same shield as Revenant's Ult. Only applies to the drone, not to Crypto. Crypto gains climbing height and crouch speed.
  • Horizon: The drone will rise into the air faster.
  • Valkyrie: If you cast EMP and look straight up, the drone will rocket upwards after the EMP detonates. Also, it rises into the air faster.
  • Alter: The drone can pier into deathbox loot from a distance, but still can't loot it.
  •
  • Bloodhound: Both crypto and the drone can see tracks. Another option is the drone gains tracker darts (alternative trigger use) that can be fired like bullets to track enemies. Has a recharge time.
  • Crypto: This is Crypto.
  • Seer: Enemies hit by EMP are briefly revealed, with their health shown through walls, and briefly silenced.
  • Vantage: The drone can read the shields and living squad mates of enemies highlighted by his passive. Enemies hit by EMP are tagged for a few seconds.
  •
  • Gibraltar: The drone has a forward shield that regenerates. It's basically gun shield. The shield isn't visible while the drone is cloaked.
  • Lifeline: Drone gets to revive people if it can't already. If it can already, drone can summon DOCs to revive people, or gains swifter revive.
  • Mirage: The drone gains Mirage's passive. Also will release a decoy and cloak when fired upon, once every 10 seconds. This cloak lasts 1 second. Again, doesn't proc at the same time as phase or smoke. Prioritize in settings.
  • Loba: Drone gets to loot one item and carry it wherever. Useful for finding things and bringing them to you or your allies. Beware though, if the drone is destroyed or recalled, the item falls below where the drone was at when it died or was recalled. If it was over the void, bye bye item.
  • NewCastle: When the drone revives people, there is a Revive Shield to protect them. Doesn't stack with DOCs. If you have both, tap for DOC, hold for Revive Shield.
  • Conduit: Drone gains a speed boost when heading toward allies or their banner.
  •
  • Caustic: Drone gains nox vision and can highlight enemies inside ally Caustic's gas.
  • Watson: Drone gains an evo shield worth 25 points and it recharges constantly. Recharges almost instantly while near Watson's Pylon. Also lets it resist fences, and maybe all arc damage too.
  • Rampart: Rampart can mount Sheila on the drone. This changes the drone's trigger from EMP (or other use) to Sheila. Only has 150 rounds and is hipfire only. When out of ammo, the turret is destroyed. This turret doesn't count against her actual placed turret count. If with current 4 charges system, then this turret has only a quarter of the ammo. Can add another quarter fill of ammo with another charge, until it is full. If near full but only missing a few bullets, transfers that many bullets from Mobile Sheila to drone Sheila.
  • Catalyst: Drone resists ferro wall and doesn't trigger spikes. Still takes damage from enemy activated spikes.

Some of the above also has effects for Crypto himself, which most are not listed.

Ones that change alternative trigger use cannot stack. Sheila can stack because that requires Rampart to give you some ammo, and otherwise you don't have sheila, thus you could be using other things during that time. Sling uses ammo from Crypto and does require reloads. Grapple and Tracker dart are based off the Legend's abilities, redesigned for the drone and around his passive. That's why the Bloodhound ability is a long range dart rather than a short range scan, because the passive is already a short range line of sight scan.
