@Peri_Longbow_plzNo fill is mainly for players like me who want to solo drop every now and then and just do their own thing, if you would rather drop with teammates until they leave the game then do that instead so you are not voluntarily playing at a disadvantage

I agree it is going to ‘’lose popularity’’ because most people are only using it right now because its a new feature and they want to test it out but playing solo isn’t for everyone

I would rather have a real solo mode, 1 v 2 and 1 v 3 is rather frustrating unless you third party like you said and players are still going to be requesting for solos every week regardless of this feature being added because it is incredibly frustrating being at a disadvantage even if you do good during the hot drop and become the kill leader with 6-7 kills you are likely going to just get destroyed once you take an octane jump pad into a full squad by accident assuming you are on trios, on duos it won’t be quite as bad and if you knock one player then the other one is just a 1v1 so its kinda fair assuming you are the one attacking first

In short no fill feels like you are playing a solos game mode full of teamers, every team has 2-3 members teaming together so It is not a great long term alternative for solos but it is a perfect short term solution assuming it gets added in the future but the way things are looking it probably won’t happen but between the wraith nerf, caustic nerf, future horizon and gibby nerfs, etc I don’t think everyone would be running around as the same legend on solos and it would actually be a fair playing field for the most part and I would rather run into 1-2 teams teaming together on solos vs 20-30 teams of teamers while playing with no fill

Asked around in my friend circle how many people would love to have a solo mode in Apex Legends. out of 9 people I asked, 7 said yes, they'd love it. I told them to try out this no-fill option. Neither of them scored a single win, nor a kill. That should say a lot.
I've been playing this no-fill mode for a while now, and while I appreciate the fact that heat shields can do quite well for solo players to strike out of a ring flare where no one would expect it, most games end after a bloodhound scan. Which IMO is just absolutely frustrating. So even if you hide a lot and just try to strike the last squad when they're weakened, you'll be found in one way or another.
For exploring certainly nice, for having fun? Occasionally.

@Peri_Longbow_plzBloodhound scans are the absolute worst as a solo wether thats playing alone or trying to clutch a fight in trios to grab banners
Respawn has everything to gain and nothing to lose by adding solos, I know many players who were turned away over the lack of solos and decided to quit and move onto something else.... I was one of them around season 4-5 I went to fortnite as soon as I finished the battlepass but ended up coming back because fortnites not my thing and I hate building in general and the no other game compares to the movement thats available on apex
i remember a poll of about 4000 players about what game modes they wanted added , 60-70% said solos... now do the math for the entire playerbase and thats a lot of people
