With respect, aim assist is NOT more OP than a standard MNK setup. Controller has always been inferior, over 10 years ago it got dominated and it's absolutely the case now.
Along the subject of not meaning any disrespect at all, but the "aim assist is bad" is the modern day equivalent of "he's hacking bro no way he's hacking" from 2010 - an excuse made up by the PC community because beating 9/10 console players wasn't good enough to begin with. So again with respect, aim assist isn't the issue, your aim is or you're in insanely higher skilled lobbies.
I assure you, absolutely nobody on controller is beating MNK players in the average lobby, but the excuse is being used everywhere because there isn't anything else left to make up and that's the cold hard truth not an opinion.
The solution to aim assist if it was really that bad is to separate pc from console players, by which console players would appreciate it as the fairness ratio far outweighs us - PC dominates every time and aim assist will never be close. Also, some weapons in apex have virtually no aim assist on controller (r99/car smg for example) and aim assist is almost redundant when aiming at an enemy in the air too, hence why nobody on a controller can beat an equivalent rank Horizon main.
I mean my statements with the utmost respect, so please don't be offended if there's something you don't agree with.
