@MIH4YL0WICHexcept you're wrong....it's not a fair proposition to pit trios against solos, and it's not complaining without merit when you're pointing out something that doesn't work.

I grind Kovaaks for around 40mins to an hour every day to get better (this is my first multiplayer game and aside from Bioshock 1 and 2 and the FEAR games my first real FPS) but I'm ok at the game now

Just need to stress this again...If I'm solo queueing, I DO NOT want to face three stacks. I also do not want to play against duo's if I'm soloing and would also like to have the option not to play with them either (because more often than not this is a miserable experience for the third wheel). Respawn, you're RUINING the solo experience for this game....

@FaIIenAngeI777I have no idea what you're talking about....my main issue here is with the out of balance solo experience when taking into account duos and trios.

Loaded into a match as a duo today (as in solo queuing and no third appeared). Killed by a three stack.

STOP THIS MADNESS NOW. IT'S NOT FUN.

STOP putting solos up against high skil duos and full trios. It's not fun and more than most other things makes the game pointless.

I would rather queue for 3 to 5 minutes than be facing either category as it sucks all enjoyment out of the game to be part of a non co-ordinated team and get trashed by these people. It doesn't matter how good you are, two people with team fire will kill you.

Also let me opt out of playing with duos....i'm tired of being fake res'd until i die and having my deathbox teabagged as it times out.

@SunlessMeridianIve never had a duo not res and t bag my deathboxes, but I gotta admit most duos are trash, duos as is the same name just with a letter being different, or similiar names/tags are the same, I think Ive only won a game when I had 2 NRGs on my team but almost every other duo I teamed up with on solo queue were either awful or were not team players and only cared for each other and didn’t care if I needed any heals,shields, or ammo

@FaIIenAngeI777it might not be common, but it happens often enough for it to be a horrible experience. Duo's only caring about each other is super common though and disheartening in a different way.

Just got killed by a three stack again in my solo queue....(all with the same clan tag initials in their username) STOP PUTTING SOLOS UP AGAINST THREE STACKS! Solo players will more than happily wait a bit if they have a choice....

@SunlessMeridian100% Agree, with the way sbmm is working too it's horrible seeing a pre made team with the best badges as the games champion squad. Makes me give up before the games even started. Three players, each capable of dealing over 4k damage and dropping a third of the lobby, all communicating and playing  strategics against players like us matched with one guy who spends enough time looting to kit out the whole lobby, the other just runs around in F'ing circles, while you get focus fired by 3 apex predators? No thankyou.

I now wholly believe this is the SBMM...I wasn't sure before, but the fact that I'm queuing with duos an incredible amount of times, vs 20 kill players in teams, well I have the distinct feeling that they weight duos as more skilled. Which is amazingly unfair to you if you solo queue.

And just had another duo leave my banner to time out on purpose as they watch it count down.....

And yet again...

Solo queueing just got killed by a premade with predator and 20 kill badges. Prior to that I got queued with a duo who both left when one went down....how is that fair on the solo player?

There must be a gross miscalculation in the EA earnings call when it comes to player base if the game is incapable of not having premades in the same game as solo players. I don't want duo's or trio's in a game that pits them against solo player teams.

If anything is a sign that Apex numbers are dropping it's this matchmaking.

Completely agree OP they need to change the way the game feels for solo players. It's really unfun right now.

No acknowledgement , nothing....the game is broken for solos.

I just love the final premade trio shooting their guns in celebration as they destroy solos in co-ordination. It's even better when you visit their stream afterwards (because of course they're streaming too) and see the journey to pred videos. Thanks for the balance Respawn.

STOP DOING IT! I'm sick of my kill feed being full of premade squads from community forums.

You're killing the game for solo people.....why am I ever facing these squads when I play on my own.....

And it's still happening...worse than ever it would seem. I'm getting put up against premades, and as a balance they're  pairing me with duos....however, as usual they're either level 8 a piece, or totally self interested making the experience for the solo horrible.

We get frustrated because of the total lack of feedback about this....Apex is quickly becoming impossible to play as a solo.

Remove duo queueing entirely as an option....it's almost always a bad experience for the third person. Then just queue solos vs solos and premades vs premades.

I play solo a hell of a lot but recently joined a gaming clan due to this point. I got tired of my team mate being knocked and quitting the game or I get knocked my team mate leaves me and runs off on solo adventures or my team mate loot whoring everything in sight. So many times I'd be one hit we would wipe a team I have zero ammo and or heals my team clears it all knowing they don't need it and off they run. Where's the fun in that? Spending your entire game sweating that some enemy will appear and breath on you for the knock.

If you have a pre made like I do a lot now also it's a case of drop loot group and do a quick ammo / health check split up the meds and loot if need be for those who didn't find much then its constant comms on direction of travel / fights then its far easier in an actual fight plus if your down you can advise your team on what's going on from your pov.

Pre made has and always will have a massive advantage over solo. I play both premade and solo like I said but given the choice I'd much rather come against solo players than a pre made pred team who just wants to pub stomp for a bit of an ego boost 

And yet again....whoever is doing matchmaking for solo players must seriously want them to stop playing....

(the wraith even has 4k damage and 20kill badges....seems legit matchmaking there for us solo players without those badges)

Not sure if it's worse but I also just got killed by a pro player...seems fair...1.2 k/d player vs a pro....glad that the matchmaking is so fine tuned....

I'm trying really hard here, but without just some transparency over this sort of thing there's no room for anyone who's not terrible or godly at Apex.

Balance Note - Just because you add a top tier player to the random squad (in this case a pred with the 4k badge) doesn't mean you can then put that random squad against duos and premades. Why? Because the Pred just goes off on their own and we all die regardless.

SOLOS VS SOLOS

Maybe simply adding another game mode? Solo squads. No premade groups allowed. Perfect for those that want to play in a squad without getting destroyed by premades in the final ring over and over. You could still queue up as a solo player for the regular mode, giving you options at least.

I thought maybe there'd been a subtle change but no, they're still doing it....

If I solo queue and get put with two other solo queuer's I don't want to face duo's or trio's. The fact that I can tune into the stream of the duo squad who killed me is ridiculous.

Apex is no longer a game that you can play on your own....there's no way this game is still the multiplayer game of the year with the way it treats it's players.

They need to stop putting plat 4's against Apex Preds. Makes no sense

After giving up on casual 'cos of SBMM, I had a quick go in ranked to see if it was any better.

NoPE!

1st match; champion squad was a pre-made with Predator rank #193, #284, and #470.

They predictably won after killing almost half the server.

If matchmaking is working as intended, why on Earth are top-tier 3-man predator squads being matched against scrub-tier solo & duo Diamond IVs?!?!

The flawed states of both casual matchmaking, and the ranked tier system are almost completely overshadowing the promises of Season 4.

Either play to your maximum ability, with pre-made squads of equally skilled players, or don't play at all; Apex offers nothing inbetween.

It's a MASSIVE problem, and incredibly frustrating for all who fell in love with Apex through Seasons 1 & 2.

And yet you're STILL putting solo queue players up against three stacks. If anything shows a total lack of comprehension about the problems in Apex's matchmaking it's this, and yet you continue to do it.

The SBMM is worse now that it was before this new season, and coupled to that solo players have to contend with playing against full premades.

Is it any wonder that the player base gets upset and feels driven to post angry messages? They WANT to enjoy the game but the current matchmaking is broken.

Please fix your game.Trios with clan tags are still being put up against solo queue players.

If you want to kill the experience for solo players, go right ahead. But I would bet against the longevity of Apex if you're solely relying on premade teams. You're driving people away, and the people you're driving away are the one's propping Apex up.

Playing as a trio should not be mandatory if trio squads are the only option.
