There are a tons of options they can go with too.

Such as:

Add a recently played with section in your friends list.

Add of voting system at the end of the match that automatically puts you in a group with people who voted yes.

At the end screen of a match they can add a button under each person name that lets you friend them or something, or redirects you to their profile.

Just a few idea's I thought of.
